I looked for the problem, and file species_mod_window.gui in Interface folder cause crash. Nevertheless, lot of trait are broken. The job modifier doesn't work anymore. So the mod need a big refit. maybe i lokking for and upload it, if i have the time, (and the motivation ^^)

Indeed, after very much troubleshooting, this mod causes a game crash on a new galaxy start with 4.0

curious if this mod will be getting updated AFTER 4.0 releases, i just wanna know if i should come back to this mod to use during 4.0 later or not <3 love the mod, hope to see it in 4.0 as well <3

I'm not familiar with the structure of how this mod works in the bg, but I hit midgame with my species that had the tiny trait which suddenly just stopped applying to my species, throwing my economy in disarray. It was working fine and just abruptly my colonies one by one would stop having the tiny apply. It's still there, visually, but its not working. It could possibly be related to having a mod that adds a genetics tradition which I took around the time it happened, but it didn't happen immediately either, so I'm not sure its related. I also noticed that it counted it as both a negative and positive trait in the template editor during the game. If I had less than three points left it would say I couldn't be tiny anymore (despite still having traits available) but if I removed it myself it removed the -3 modifier. Either way it just wasn't working extremely suddenly which really stings because my economy is now in a tremendous deficit because I had hundreds of pops when it happened.

Hm, is it possible to sort negative, positive and postive+ or negative+ into own clusters? If yes, why isn't this made already?

OK,i find the reason:my species has trait_td_multi_hiveminded.
After i remove this trait from my species,the faction immediately show up.
It would be better to have a hint to tell people what will happen when they have this trait.

I play with about 30 mods,and one day i find that i can't have factions.No matter it is 2220 or 2300,the factions just won't show up.
So i check my mods one by one.
I pick an archive around 2215,and i find that:
Playing without this mod,no matter how many other mods i select,factions will be generated the second I start my game.
Playing with this single mod(no other mods),factions still can't be generated.
Got any idea why it's happened?

Anyways, important note for Necrophages players:

Thymoleptic Implants trait will prevent pops from becoming Necrophytes... This bug is 3 years old, so be careful and have a nice games

multi-hiveminded disables happiness yet the tooltip explaining that has been removed?
I noticed that when choosing the state principle of “xenophobia”, which also gives +10% to population growth, this same bonus does not apply to the second race (when playing as a NECROPHAG) which I have when the population increases, is this how it should be?
This effect is exerted by the blue perk “last children”, which removes reproduction from the race - is this intended?

Still *seems* to work with 3.13.

I however cannot tell if it's causing any issues with cosmic storms or the update.

Some mods seem to be affected by a bug preventing them from displaying as updated. NSC3 - Season 1 has the same issue, and the dev has commented on it.

Can you pls update for 3.12? With this mod on, some new content does not work properbly. (New Cybernetic Origin Mechanic for exmaple, Pops do not get the trait correctly, so they can't use the new jobs and faction also does not appear)

I see humanoid (maybe more species) can take lithoid and hivemind traits for 0 points. Is this a bug? and 2nd - Can the AI pick these when they are fx. reptilian?

Finding some traits are working and others are not. Example is Paragon and the robot trait. Research, more resources do not work. But more army damage that is part of trait works just fine. So no idea how many other traits are only partially working.

For some reason it's not loading in the playset, I can see it installed in mods, however, doesn't ever load in playset. I've subscribed and unsub'd, added mods after and they show up., but this one does not.

@Lylant, I LOVE your mod but to be frank you've been doing werid thing in the latest updates. You changed leader_lifespan_add_min/-max to leader_age_min/max in the latest update but none of them seem to be valid modifiers in 3.10 (even with Universal Modifier patch). Furthermore the modifiers are placed outside the "modifier = {" part :-)

But thanks for your work - the mod is a must-have

Well I think for me the mod is working, reading some of the comments made me a bit unsure tough, would be glad to see an update for 3.10

leader_lifespan_add_mín and leader_lifespan_add_max doesn't seem to be valid modifiers
