Thanks for being honest! I will give it a test on 3.8.2 myself today.

Out of curiosity, do other empires have an opinion or reaction to their ships being captured? I imagine not, since that would have added several additional levels of complexity for a mod that is already kinda meme-y given how far it diverges from intended fleet behavior.

Well, this mod is very simple and small.
Patches not nessesary will break it.
But didnt checked myself. So cant be sure.

I assume this mod doesn't worth anymore; the mod seems a bit intensive, unlikely to have survived a year & a half of patches.

Anyone with any insights or anecdote on its current state with any of the recent 3.x updates?

This sounds interesting idea, if i gonna implement it, it would be in my another mod called human fallen empires (it already have pirates), it also have similar feature of taking whole enemy fleet, but only for specific (still playable) country

Request : Can you expand this mod to change fleet owner to pirate? This way players can kill laggy fleets with many small ships without war. Maybe espionage option to bribe fleet to turn pirate.

Not sure if i want to develop this mod, turned out stellaris api is limited for this feature
You cant put ship out of fleet, initially it was ok, but with added disengagement taking fallens ships would also give all disengaged ships in fleet, not cool

Don't know why, but it only capture corvettes, frigates,, cruisers, destroyers and galleons.

The reason why the captured ship will ignore player's order is because the captured fleet's stance was set as aggressive, aggressive fleet will do things on their own. Yet I think it was hardcoded for AI fleets to be aggressive, so just set the fleet back to passive should be fine

Pirate galleon have 10% chance because marauder galleon kind of same and it is spawned a lot
Maybe i should separate it and give pirate galleon 100% chance, not sure

No matter of load order Board That Ship! or Mod Menu, pirate gelleon always is fully destroyed. Mod menu fix also do nothing.
Tested with only those two mods enabled, fresh map, cheat for find galleon, spawn some ships to destroy it. Always is fully destroyed.

This is one of the mods causing the 3.0.1 bug that spams multiple empty, game-pausing event pop-ups. Only playable up to 2.8.
