I very much hope idm has it in them to make a reboot or update on this, cause its probably my favorite tradition mod. I honestly feel like this is how stellaris traditions should be. That said, I don't wanna pressure or seem entitled, cause if idm has decided to abandon this mod I respect them just as much for what they made

I've run into an odd quirk where taking the 'Flesh is weak' path for the Ascension tree bugs out. It doesn't consider you to have completed the Cyberization project, so you can't progress up the tree without using the console to cheat in the blocked perk. It may be because I don't have the Machine Age dlc yet.

Is there no longer a tradition for % to gain favor by improving relations every month or something? It's nowhere in the Statecraft reworked tradition tree, and the vanilla Diplomacy tree that contained that tradition branch has been replaced/removed by this mod...

For me it seems to work but completing 2 groups doesnt give ascension perks which is odd, think I'm still going to use it though because I can't go back to vanilla traditions

Forerunner will be updated eventually. My time is just very limited right now which makes it hard to justify modding. Until then, I would recommend reverting to 3.8 if you want to play with Forerunner.

@DragunovV it's a known bug with mods that increase the amount of ascension perks. Ascension path available perk requirement is broken if it's outside the vanilla perk amount

Maybe I'm missing something. I see the change/fix from July 3rd. Currently playing spiritualist. Research Psionic Theory. Can't unlock Ascension traditions, that says "Need to have Mind over Matter Ascension perk". Mind over Matter Ascension perk says I need a free Ascension slot, which I have. I can't unlock it. Anyone have the same thing?

Sadly, maybe found another issue. The Synthetic Path for machine empires maybe broken, they just assimilate their own machine pops forever and this totally break their economy. But I cant make sure it is caused by this mod. I will do another hang on observation save.

I'm asking because there are a lot of drop weight modifiers of techs - for example has_tradition = tr_supremacy_adopt - and with your mod, it won't trigger. Maybe it would be easier for compatibilities if you could just change adoption effects of vanilla traditions and use them instead of frr_ or tr_ from different vanilla traditions? Thanks

How should I refer to an adopted tradition? For example if anyone adopted just the opener of Supremacy. I checked tradition_categories\frr_supremacy.txt and it says adoption_bonus = "tr_unyielding_finish".

So then, in triggers, when I want to refer to the picked opener of Supremacy, should I just use has_tradition = tr_unyielding_finish?

Noticed AIs like to pick new traditions instead of getting 3rd and ascension perk. For example they picked Prosperity tradition and picked first two traditions in every Prosperity tree.

Maybe 3rd tradition should have 2x higher AI weight than 2nd? Also out of curiosity - why tradition swaps have low AI weights compared to non-swapped ones?

Can also confirm to anyone looking in here - this mod is currently not compatible with the current version of stellaris on 7/1/2023 as of the update to the ascension perk trees. Disable/avoid using this mod for now as it will completely lock you (and the AI) out of ascension paths while also missing specific perks of certain ascension paths.

I also seem to be having issues with the new Ascension tree, though I can't tell if another mod is at fault. I'm never able to finish an ascension path (always one, unclickable option left over) nor do I see the chosen ascension (genetic, psionic, etc) tree in my list after I've chosen it. Can only tell how far it's progressed from choosing options in the new Ascension tree if I try to pick another Tradition.

Hey i really appreciate the mod , could there be a way to make it compatible with ascension -biologicial module ? It actually breaks the ascension path by removing the "genetics" tradition tree which stops the biological perfection path of the other mod. Thanks you again for the mod :D !
