Will this be updated?
lumiscent 21 Nov, 2020 @ 11:16pm

H8-T1NYZZ ☣ 4 Aug, 2020 @ 11:56am
Let Muggins work in whatever he is doing in peace, I'm also waiting for the mod update, but idk, maybe some consideration with the modders...
redmoth27 4 Aug, 2020 @ 11:29am
Hey Muggins why isn't the mod updated yet?
Mugi  [author] 30 Jun, 2020 @ 12:47pm
Awesome, thanks Steam UI. Fixed.
redmoth27 30 Jun, 2020 @ 10:07am
You screwed up the link to the patch mod, the link confusingly takes you to THIS mod.
Wewei 8 Jun, 2020 @ 5:48pm
happy to know there will be an update!

MOD indispensable in my games!
redmoth27 7 Jun, 2020 @ 12:03am
Thanks
Col. Hathi 6 Jun, 2020 @ 3:04am
Lmao. Ty Muggins.
Mugi  [author] 6 Jun, 2020 @ 1:07am
Sure.
redmoth27 5 Jun, 2020 @ 10:31pm
Is it work or family? At least link TechSY730's patch while you're working on this update.
redmoth27 5 Jun, 2020 @ 10:12pm
Hey wheres the update!? I along with man others are getting real tired of waiting without even the slightest hint of when it's gonna roughly come out! Please work harder or tell us why it's taking so long.
Spaceception 28 May, 2020 @ 4:47pm
@The God of Dirt
Well this is more than a week old, but whatever. Did you use the mod as is, or the update patch for 2.7? Because I'm playing a Hive Mind, and I now I don't know if it broke or not too..
Frantastic 18 May, 2020 @ 12:43pm
Hey! Just so you know, your overwrite of 04_gestalt_jobs kind of breaks hivemind synaptic nodes to not produce admin cap. I checked in the files and it's missing the block where the admin cap is actually produced. If you could fix that I would be super appreciative!
Ragadad 14 Apr, 2020 @ 3:38pm
Aw man I cannot wait for the update! I love crime!
Mugi  [author] 10 Apr, 2020 @ 9:05pm
Same here, along with updating various static modifiers and shuffling them off into a new file when able.
TechSY730 10 Apr, 2020 @ 8:53pm
Heads up. In my patch https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1913024737 , I completely changed how I override the crime events mod. I now override them in a new file instead of overriding all of crime_events.txt from vanilla. This makes it much more compatible with other mods and future vanilla changes. If you are planning to override crime events in your update, I would suggest you do something similar.
efimevgen98 4 Apr, 2020 @ 12:29am
Or maybe 1 building per planet, but gives 1 enforser for each 20 pops.
efimevgen98 4 Apr, 2020 @ 12:05am
Maybe you should add some limit to precinct houses? Like 2 per planet, cause even with couple of other mods they too op and make my offices useless.
Mugi  [author] 3 Apr, 2020 @ 8:10am
Your patch was definitely what I started with! I've made some further alterations to the remaining crime events, hopefully in a way that won't murder the AI. Thank you so much for maintaining the mod for me.
TechSY730 3 Apr, 2020 @ 8:01am
May I humbly raise my patch that was updating your mod?
https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1913024737

While mostly it was a straight port, I did make a few changes to make crime even more meaningful (overviewed in the description). Do any of them sound reasonable to incorporate here?
Col. Hathi 31 Mar, 2020 @ 5:54pm
Can't wait
INyaFACE 31 Mar, 2020 @ 9:53am
do you recommend your mod even without Starnet, or do you think the vanilla AI can't handle this? also, does the AI use these tools themselves offensively? if so, this mod is exactly what i'm looking for :)
Mugi  [author] 31 Mar, 2020 @ 7:04am
Meaningful Crime will return for 2.6, better than ever. Just polishing up some new events.
H8-T1NYZZ ☣ 30 Mar, 2020 @ 11:53pm
@redmoth27
Same question, I love this mod and I hope @Muggins is ok and will uodate this too. Jajaja
redmoth27 30 Mar, 2020 @ 10:57pm
When’s are we gonna have an update for this mod??
Grand Poo-Bah de Canadiannaise 22 Mar, 2020 @ 9:06pm
I have also experienced this.
I love your mod, and appreciate more dangerous crime.
Unfortunately I cannot use your mod as it has a bug where bureaucrats don't exist.
An Update for 2.6.1 would be great
redmoth27 18 Mar, 2020 @ 3:38pm
There's a glitch caused by this mod in 2.6.1 (65d2) where when you start a game the bureaucrat jobs on your home world are bugged out. And have their intended pops be unemployed workers. Could you please fix this?
redmoth27 16 Mar, 2020 @ 4:46pm
Thanks, Muggins. You are making crime great again
Mugi  [author] 12 Mar, 2020 @ 7:41am
Yup, working on it now.
redmoth27 20 Feb, 2020 @ 11:59am
So whens the next update planned, will it be when feds comes out?
Mugi  [author] 31 Jan, 2020 @ 7:49pm
I'll have to look into it when Federations comes out. Thanks for letting me know.
cubelith 31 Jan, 2020 @ 12:58pm
It doesn't appear to actually add the criminals (at 33 Crime), even with the 2.5 patch (I'm a Criminal Syndicate), is it intended? Loaded last (only the patch after it)
Mugi  [author] 9 Jan, 2020 @ 7:12pm
You'll probably end up with some extra working pops (who were previously criminals), but that's about it.
Col. Hathi 9 Jan, 2020 @ 6:12pm
Considering it looks like he just modified some values on existing features, I'd say your save is probably fine.
WarZone NYHC 9 Jan, 2020 @ 4:25pm
Would my save get corrupted if I remove this mod? It kinda is insuffarable to deal with with the forgotten queens mod (dont get me wrong I adore this mod in normal empires)
Col. Hathi 4 Jan, 2020 @ 7:25am
@FailToWin, While using Starnet AI alongside this, the AI seems more prone to just take the crime lord deal and be done with it. If you're gonna use the mod though, make sure to also use TechSY730's patch, because this mod modifies vanilla files and isn't up to date.
FailSafe 11 Dec, 2019 @ 8:57am
can the AI in any way handle this change or is it just going to cripple them?
TechSY730 14 Nov, 2019 @ 6:52pm
Until this gets an update, I've made a patch bringing Meaningful Crime up to date for 2.5's changes:
https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1913024737
Col. Hathi 9 Nov, 2019 @ 7:07pm
I notice putting Meaningful Crime before/above Starnet AI fixes the food upkeep, but I'm wondering if Meaningful Crime still works as intended then?
Col. Hathi 9 Nov, 2019 @ 6:28am
So running this with the new lithoid dlc will give lithoid hive minds a food upkeep :/ How does that even work?
luke0328 22 Sep, 2019 @ 10:41pm
is this mod compatible with minor mechanics overhaul?
Stephen 18 Sep, 2019 @ 8:20am
Wrong mod sorry haha
Mugi  [author] 18 Sep, 2019 @ 6:27am
This mod doesn't add clones, friend.
Stephen 18 Sep, 2019 @ 5:16am
Would it be possible for the assembled clone pop to have a trait added to them "Clone: -5% all production"
Mushroomancer 21 Aug, 2019 @ 2:47pm
I feel like the branch office buildings should reduce criminal jobs by the amount of jobs they give -- an AI with my branch offices is still suffering heavy with 5-6 criminals, especially in the early game when such a hit to the capital will cripple

This works inversely too if an AI Criminal Syndicate plobs a branch office on my capital early on. At that point its pretty much a restart since my much-needed-pops are useless.
