This mode was created to properly output machine portraits and attributes that are not normally output from this link.

Sorry, but I have vanilla machine portrait duplicating issue when I select species portraits, since current stellaris version.

@Azzarrel, I hear first time that portrait somehow related to FPS drops. It is simple animated picture ..., thus it is actually either game bug or your local issue related to fleet management but not leader picture.

Hi. I get massive FPS drops when selecting fleet with a leader from your mod (using Mass Effect Geth). 2 Fleets + Leaders brings down FPS to single FPS count. Other mods (like Elves of Stellaris) and Vanilla don't seem to have this problem. Any fix?

Can hire ground troops as Gestalt Conciousnes quite fine btw.

I disabled only this mod and the hiring of troops started. I don't know if this is a consequence of the conflict of the current submode and some other mods for portraits or skills, but I just informed you in case the reason is in the submode, and not a conflict of mods (since I'm not a programmer, I don't really understand the code)

@Gubernator, nope. Just checked everything is fine. Naming can be broken due to namelists, but mod does not prevent hiring new troops. I have just done this without issues. Please check your other mods that may affect armies. This mod does not alter armies.

@Fugasas I see. Well, nonetheless I kinda found a fix to the issue by editing a trait that grants 200% habitability and just give it to the lads, haha. But yeah, it seems like species in the section robotic have a habitability issue, since they are given machine traits but don't function like biological species with habitability.

@Fugasas Oh, nah it's actually with one of the custom empires I made with a portrait from the Robotic portrait section, and that's the issue I'm having. They're only getting a +30% habitability from their homeworld, but everything else is 0%. Since they aren't Machine Intelligence, they don't get the Machine trait that gives them habitability, and they don't get a planetary preference. Hope that makes sense, but ask if you need me to clarify anything.

@That Random Alien, random spawning is turned off. In order to spawn them you need to create them as empire.

Sooo, I'm not sure if this is just something on my end, but for some reason the portraits in the "Robotic" section of portraits aren't spawning with any habitability preference trait. In the absence of having the Machine trait that adds 200% habitability, the robo dudes in this section have their homeworlds at low habitability, and same goes for every other planet.

I have an issue when you have United Sci-Fi Races: Robots and United Sci-Fi Races: species and you play as an necrophage you cannot convert pops through the chamber of elevation.

@Tinfoot, check if you activate main mod. Also disable any other machine mods that may alter this section of species.

Hey there, mate! So, it seems like this mod right here, https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2781270015 is interfering with this mod and making it so all the custom species added from this mod aren't showing up, and instead only having the vanilla and Polynian races appear.

I've been looking through the files and trying to make a patch to fix the issue, but I'm having a hard time identifying the issue. So far, after a bit of hard work, I've managed to put Polynian and races from this mod together, and while the custom races from different games are there(Like the selection box and such) the races themselves aren't appearing, instead taking on the appearance of whatever species was previously selected. Any idea what could be causing this?

As far as I understand, this replaces the game's 'Machine' section for portraits, correct?

There is one portrait I really liked from the original which looked like a mechanical spider (it disappears only when I load this mod). Would it be too much work to add it back?
