Ive been trying to get some version of this mod working for ages now, if anyone knows how to get it work or could replicate the effect please let me know! :)

Thank you. I see that now, this mod only has one file. I am using the Revoljutionary Borders mod now with this one, it's a great combo! (I like it more than the Graphical Map Improvements mod)

It should be, as long as the Graphical Map Improvements mod doesn't include its own pdxmap.shader. If you delete the pdxmap.shader from another mod, this mod will work w it.

@sulphurous yes. I wrote this a while ago, but there is a constant in the shader that controls it.

I like the mod, but I have a question. Maybe I am asking something impossible, but can you make so we still see a bit of the forests. It's kind of the only thing that isn't there and would make the immersion so much better. Now, when I zoom into Germany it looks like a central asian steppe. If it's impossible don't mind. I stil like the mod :)

Is it possible to make a tweaked version that is a little bit more like: More Vibrant and Colorful Transparent Map (Colorblind Friendly) http://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=939272319 ? So that the colors were a bit more distinct from each other. Or could you tell me what parameters to tweak I could try it myself? Thanks!

actually, i didn't try to make you make the exactly like hoi4 map or making the map. only hope there's the way to put tree to political map.

@Negi Thank you! I found the variable as well and it indeed worked like a charm.
However I had to also take out the pdxmap.shader file out of the archive and replace the pdxmap.shader Meiou and Taxes had installed with this one.

Otherwise it just wouldn't kick in. Maybe I just archived it back to .zip in a wrong way.

@xionor I'm like at least 60% sure it works if you just change this line:
static const float NUM_TILES = 4.0f; to
static const float NUM_TILES = 5.0f;

but you'll have to check vs the stock pdxmap.shader that comes with M&T.

I also asked Gigau if he'd make an addon or something for the M&T version.

@xionor, we had an old version working for M&T. If i remember correctly the key point you need to change is to change the tile density from 4 to 5 somewhere and then it just works like magic. If you search the paradox forums, you should be able to find my post there.

Any plans on making this work with Meiou and Taxes?

It works somewhat but there's these large weird-terrain-colored squares everywhere.

The response I got from the Meiou and Taxes team is
"It's a matter of compatibility : we use 25 terrain tiles in atlas0.dds, Vanilla uses 16."

@awesomealan Don't use this mod with TOT, they are incompatible. Use TOT by itself, it includes it by default. I helped Kryo recode the shader for TOT for 1.19.

I've tried deslecting a few, like EMO and Dynamic borders, but they aren't the cause of it. Could it be TOT itself?

I think it may have something to do with the initial amount of transparency you have it set to when zoomed out all the way, compared to the game without the mod, but yeah i'll take a few screenshots and post them in a bit. I'm also using a couple other mods, you'll know what ones they are upon seeing the screenshots.

For some reason with this mod, since 1.19 province borders are ither gone, or VERY faint, cant really tell...

Only area borders now show, but I dont have the borders disabled... D:
