all weapons not made for weaponcore are incompatible with it and to my point of understanding there is atm only one system that works with wc based and vanilla based stuff which would be anpal.
vanilla+ is vanilla based stuff and thus its incompatible with wc.

Some mod, I don't know which one, is removing your weapons saying that they are not compatible with the vanilla weapons. I wish I could figure this out. I have all of Lucas' vanilla plus mods installed.

So i guess this mod does not work in creative mode? Or it works in a different way?
I´ve seen two SPRT. TRCN Dinasty Destroyer signals on my creative save, but they are static, showing no movement or hostile intentions.

In that case a mod that retains block ids (making wepons appear on the ship), but using different difinitions will have weapons present, but most probably using default targetting settings. Like those you get when building the weapon in the first place.

Nothing game breaking, but probably a bit boring since stuff like 50mm cannons and 230mm battlecannons might get their set max ranges defaulted to something like 800m.

he did write about definitions, not about id´s

i did exchange the oki wepaon pack myself for the wc version as soon as it was there and they all got automatically replaced, also did a small check if it is still the case and it works.

the id is to identify a type of block while a definition if for example how far a weapon can fire or what it can target.

Seems the author didn't really answer my question, but I'm going to assume no one has any real reason to change the ID's, so hopefully your NPC mod and his weapon mod work together.

This one should work as it uses Seff's reupload. And Seff's reupload uses original IDs.

And there are nasty hovertanks on Earth planet that you can encounter - these will hover above the ground never going up, but they have the meanest long range turrets on them. Quite deadly to flying small grids.

Careful with bosses - they are now a bit tougher (have additional ships).
Also keep an eye on pirate fighters and drones when in space - sometimes a wing of fighters or a gunship will come and bite you.

Installations on planets might still spawn in some crazy ways, but in general all should be fine now.

hey, is there any way to know which faction these ships spawn from, as they're constantly attacking me, but without weapons set to target neutrals, they just end up ramming my grids at high speed, which TBH really sucks cause that's pretty much unstoppable unless you can obliterate the attacker before they get close enough, would like to declare war on the faction to avoid these issues

Can we have permission to upload a mod with some of your content for private use with an unlisted posting (i.e. for a server). We would want permission to tweak the ships for our custom scenario and factions. Also if this only applies to certain mods of yours could you please let us know?

I am also wondering if https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2481720426 fulfills the necessary weapon requirement here. I assume it's necessary to have the right SubtypeIDs, does the new version i've linked here fit the bill?

IIRC you'll need a ready bluerping and simply replace contents of it with those of a fighter.

Author of these fighters didn't include much of fron-facing thrust on the ships apparently.
My drones (OKI) might also have similar issues, though i don't recall if they do or not.

as i was going to the helicarrier in creativew they attacked me in air, was much smarter as they shot their own helo carrier without any regards for FF but atleast it seemed like they fly much more save when theyre not operating near ground

it feels like the helicarrier drones cant realize a planets surface aint no good? i just got them dropped on me 2 times now. 1st time i didn realy realized what was happening but the 2nd i saw that those arrowhead fighters and the hovercopter where divebombing like moving onto my groundbase, just to crash nose first right into the ground

I ended up having the Helicarrier spawn in on me this morning and really wreck havoc. That was some awesome combat, and destruction. Thanx for the awesome mod!

My apologies if I was unclear, or if I am misunderstanding - I believe I may have mixed up which mod does what. I had thought that this mod changed up the weapons on ships to use modded weapons, and was asking if it was possible to blacklist a specific weapon. Reading through again, I think I've got that wrong?

So why asking me how to disable his turret? I have no idea neither of the names of the ships that gun is used on nor of the ids of the gun itself.

Ask him of IDs of that weapon / ship ID on his mod's page and how to remove it...

One, on its own, it isn't too bad... but a few times now, I've run into ships spawning with four or five of these little beasts.
