all weapons not made for weaponcore are incompatible with it and to my point of understanding there is atm only one system that works with wc based and vanilla based stuff which would be anpal.
vanilla+ is vanilla based stuff and thus its incompatible with wc.

So i guess this mod does not work in creative mode? Or it works in a different way?
I´ve seen two SPRT. TRCN Dinasty Destroyer signals on my creative save, but they are static, showing no movement or hostile intentions.
Nothing game breaking, but probably a bit boring since stuff like 50mm cannons and 230mm battlecannons might get their set max ranges defaulted to something like 800m.
he did write about definitions, not about id´s
i did exchange the oki wepaon pack myself for the wc version as soon as it was there and they all got automatically replaced, also did a small check if it is still the case and it works.
the id is to identify a type of block while a definition if for example how far a weapon can fire or what it can target.
The weapon core version will likely have some turrets using different definitions because of how weapon core works"
Seems the author didn't really answer my question, but I'm going to assume no one has any real reason to change the ID's, so hopefully your NPC mod and his weapon mod work together.

you need to add a space before and after the link so that it doesnt merges with the ( and ) or steam has probs with readign it properly

Also keep an eye on pirate fighters and drones when in space - sometimes a wing of fighters or a gunship will come and bite you.
Installations on planets might still spawn in some crazy ways, but in general all should be fine now.
then you ned to declare war on all, have already encountered them as spawn from 8 different factions
Can we have permission to upload a mod with some of your content for private use with an unlisted posting (i.e. for a server). We would want permission to tweak the ships for our custom scenario and factions. Also if this only applies to certain mods of yours could you please let us know?

i use it myself and as far as i can tell you can replac eboth with another and so i would say they have the same subtypeid

Been very long ago since i last messed with it.
My drones (OKI) might also have similar issues, though i don't recall if they do or not.
Did it properly spawn drone aircrafts?

My apologies if I was unclear, or if I am misunderstanding - I believe I may have mixed up which mod does what. I had thought that this mod changed up the weapons on ships to use modded weapons, and was asking if it was possible to blacklist a specific weapon. Reading through again, I think I've got that wrong?

Ask him of IDs of that weapon / ship ID on his mod's page and how to remove it...

One, on its own, it isn't too bad... but a few times now, I've run into ships spawning with four or five of these little beasts.
