it depends on it pretty hard. i don't think it'll break the game or anything without it, but the mod just won't do anything.

i'm actually unsure about that, it may not. iirc there might be a mod config menu to disable that mod's crawlspace changes though?

is it a solid wall, or just visual? if it has collision i don't think it would be coming from this mod as it doesn't change any physical room geometry.

i think this mod and more interesting crawlspaces are clashing because some of my crawlspaces are just entirely locked off by a wall

for that problem you mentioned Uminoko, i'm fairly sure browsing isaac's local files and then navigating to data/crawlspacesRebuilt and deleting the save.dat files should fix this? it'll delete all your previously stored settings, but after that the mod should hopefully start storing them again like normal. next time this mod actually gets worked on i'll double check for any bugs that might be causing this though.

i do sorta like the idea of adding compatability for various mods like that, but at the moment all that spritework is more effort than i wanna bother with. however it might not be a bad idea to put out an option to toggle certain types of rooms, so you can avoid garbled conflicts like that without uninstalling the whole mod.

this isnt compatible with the antibirth rotgut due to it changing the background to more of a greener color rather than the red one. causing the tiles to be pretty buggy. if it wouldnt be too much trouble, i'd like to see this have compatibility with it, if at all possible. no pressure at all, though.

unrelated to that, this looks great. this ruined the normal crawlspaces for me though, so i am PISSED off.

im back home on my ASUS and the problem didnt exist--though now im thinking about it, i went to the "content" folder but the shader.xml isnt there. i couldve sworn it WAS there in my Dell/Intel, before i did the uninstall/reinstall. so probably steam messing up with workshop installations (not my first time dealing with it)

i hope its something solvable! maybe shaders are conflicting? because when i used to have the original installation on my laptop, it was fine as its own mod alone..
im familiar with boi's api but i havent touched anywhere near shaders yet haha

would you mind navigating to the mod's directory (right click on isaac, hit properties, go to local files and hit browse local files, then navigate to mods/crawlspaces rebuilt) and checking if "shaders.xml" is inside the content folder?

black screen still occurs in the newest version. i kept having a black screen when starting runs and decided to check recently updated mods. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling this mod but still black screen. my pc only has an intel hd 4000, for added context

is the black screen still occurring in the newest version? it should only happen if you enabled the shaders by moving them into the content folder. or at least that's what i would think,

to anyone who has the black screen of death like i did, i found the solution:
i simply uninstalled the mod and re-installed. it must have had something conflicting in old files/hierarchy with the shaders? dunno.

to the creator: the black screen of death only persisted when ANY other mod was active with this mod. not sure why.
i'm also on an Intel+Intel Graphics laptop rn (away from home) but ill also check it out at home on my ASUS+NVIDIA pc when i return.

Anytime some type of shader is used in a mod, it usually breaks for alot of people and gives them black screens, this happens to me too, and it's most likely because of hardware like u said, I have a crappy pc with a iGPU, it most likely won't work for people with a bad pc.

alr yeah shaders are banished for now. went on about it a bit more in the patch notes, it should be pretty easy to re-enable them for those who'd like to try their luck. cause on my end, somehow, everything runs fine. so hopefully they'll work alright for at least some of you guys?

Uh new update probably broke the mod. I tried starting a run today and I got a black screen. I eventually found out that this mod causes the issue, through the help of the Modding of Isaac discord server, and I tried playing with just this mod enabled, and I still got a black screen whenever I started a run (game was still playing, I could move, fire and do anything else, I just had a black screen).

The vignette effect doesn't work with custom crawlspaces if they happen to be bigger than usual.

I'm having trouble with this mod mistakenly identifying StageAPI luarooms as Rotgut rooms, most likely because those rooms get replaced by StageAPI
If possible a check to prevent that would be nice, by checking if StageAPI:GetCurrentRoom() is nil or not
