Don't see why it wouldn't be; just been updated to include compatibility with potential new star systems.
Dath 17 de mai. às 7:16
Still compatible with 3.14?
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 10 de mai. às 4:27

Thanks!

Hi guys;

Apologies for the long delay (been drowning in work, and the flu to boot).

I've updated the mod to the latest version (3.14). Tested and it runs fine (also tested a Voidworm spawn system and it was OK too).

Any problems, let me know!
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 1/dez./2024 às 10:05
Hi @MarsJenkar - you're absolutely right. I've been inundated with work this week so have been unable to address the issue properly. Apologies for this.
MarsJenkar 30/nov./2024 às 21:52
Pretty sure I found the issue. Your localization file overwrites the vanilla one for these random names, and any new names that are in the vanilla file that don't appear in yours don't work properly. That includes not only the Voidworm systems, but a number of special hidden systems, generally used for the Treasure Hunters quests. Adding those systems to your file would be a simple enough quick-fix since those particular systems appear all in one block at the end of the localization file, though at some point you might check to make sure that the other system names in the vanilla file are handled in yours.
[D]Mit. 29/nov./2024 às 1:28
Yeap same problem. Voidworm systems appear to have broken names. Sure makes it easier to spot them though!
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 25/nov./2024 às 13:03
Probably this mod being out of date. I can look into it.
Brimlebo 25/nov./2024 às 13:00
The names for voidworm systems seem to freak out when this mod is active going to something like "VOIDWORM_SYSTEM_04" insted of the usual jumble of letters that it should be in base game. A possible bug or missing names in this mod?
Holyspawn 30/out./2024 às 5:18
Fine m8. I tho you had access to some sort of name generator/merger or AI tool using the already 6k existing names.
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 30/out./2024 às 0:39
...you want me to think of 4,000 other star names and merge them into this mod?

Yeah, sorry but I don't have the time to do that bud =P
Holyspawn 29/out./2024 às 23:34
Roger. Zip, can you add others 4k names (so to reach a total of 10k)?

I'm playing around with very large maps and i would like to test 7k and 10k systems but i'm short of 4k names.

Thank you in advance.
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 29/out./2024 às 12:18
Except for an "outdated" warning, it should work with 3.14 Grand Archive.
Holyspawn 29/out./2024 às 11:59
Can you please update this for 3.14 Grand Archive and possibly add a total of 10k names?

Thank you in advance.
Abbodon 18/out./2024 às 12:44
Just to clarify on the below, this mod does NOT allow achievements, both Irony and Stellaris itself detect it as not being iron-man compatible and disabling achievements.
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 23/ago./2024 às 9:34
Sorry to hear this mate. Again, I can understand why Paradox have done it, but it is frustrating nonetheless (I have no achievements myself).
SepphorisVT 23/ago./2024 às 9:32
I don't think so. And sadly, I don't have any achievements left that wouldn't require hours of investment. :<

I MIGHT be able to test it on the next DLC, should that DLC have an achievement that doesn't take a bunch of luck or investment to get. I hope it doesn't, since at this point most of the star names are very notably repeating.
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 23/ago./2024 às 3:14
Good question; I don't think so - Paradox are very sensitive about achievements - even minor alterations to the core game can disable achievements (and this is a fairly notable change!).

Does it not say in the bottom of the start menu when you boot the game up? Can't remember as it's been a while since I last played...
SepphorisVT 22/ago./2024 às 17:50
Does this work with achievements?
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 1/mai./2024 às 13:33
Glad you sorted it out bud =)
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 30/abr./2024 às 13:34
I don't think stars in this mod utilise such nomenclature......

You sure you have no mod conflicts?
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 29/abr./2024 às 2:37
Yep I'm still using it myself - unless an update changes naming conventions (which hasn't happened for quite a few versions now) it should continue to work fine for everyone =)
scott.rossi 28/abr./2024 às 17:07
24this appears to still be working on 4/28/24 with 3.11
Comrade Phoenix 11/mar./2024 às 9:14
I think it has been. I'm just getting back into the game myself after about 4-5 months, going through mods to see what's outdated and what's updated (which is how I got here, actually). I'm pretty sure there have been some performance improvements since the last time this mod was updated, though.
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 11/mar./2024 às 9:05
Ohhh! Hmm, I haven't considered it. I'm tempted to come back to Stellaris in the near future (provided the ridiculous end game lag has been softened down a bit) - if that is the case then sure I'll look into it.
Comrade Phoenix 11/mar./2024 às 8:36
I think they were asking if you would do the same thing with that mod as you did with the original version of this mod.
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 11/mar./2024 às 6:22
Ah - that's not my mod so I don't know bud, sorry!
Comrade Phoenix 11/mar./2024 às 4:31
JNL = Just Name Lists.
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 4/mar./2024 às 13:01
Glad to hear it bud!

JNL?
zah1 4/mar./2024 às 11:00
The mod works just fine. Thank you for updating it. Any plans to do the same with JNL?
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 7/fev./2024 às 15:00
Should be!
B-loeber 7/fev./2024 às 14:59
is this mod compatible with more galaxy standard edition?
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 11/out./2023 às 11:09
Does it not work Marv? It should work fine despite the most recent updates....
Marv de Marvenlöse 8/out./2023 às 12:38
I'd love this mod be updated. Thank you !
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 10/mai./2023 às 7:21
Thanks bud =)

AFAIK it should still work for the latest Stellaris iteration - any problems let me know!
Porkenstein 9/mai./2023 às 16:21
Bless you, zipzop
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 16/mar./2023 às 13:06
Glad to hear =)
albinogod 16/mar./2023 às 7:12
It seems to work for 3.7. It does not cause a crash on galaxy load or generation, and the names are appearing in the save file.
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 15/mar./2023 às 6:28
Does it work for 3.7? Test it and let me know plz
Poncho 15/mar./2023 às 6:10
3.7?
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 28/fev./2023 às 6:13
Very welcome =)
☁︎n1mbus☁ 27/fev./2023 às 19:39
These look like they'd make sense, thanks for something I didn't even know I needed on my load order.
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 6/fev./2023 às 17:18
Ooh that's an idea; thanks for the tip @Sindowne!
Sindowne 6/fev./2023 às 14:41
I'm guessing you're still willing to expand and add more names to the list? With an upcoming IAU NameExoWorlds contest set to conclude in March, that'd be a fun pool to grab names from, I'd imagine.
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 27/jan./2023 às 12:23
Glad you found it bud =)
tilarium 27/jan./2023 às 11:49
I lot of people don’t, from what I gather. One bored, sleepless night of internet searching I found the instructions. The only reason I said to google the settings is because mine have been set up for years and I don’t remember what needed to be changed.
Zipzopdippidybopbop  [autor(a)] 27/jan./2023 às 11:05
Didn't even know that was a thing. Thanks @tilarium for this!
tilarium 27/jan./2023 às 9:09
@Uncle (1/2) All this mod does is add system names, adding system names is only useful when generating a system. Aside from a handful of occurrences, systems are generated during galaxy generation. Galaxy generation is a 1 time occurence at the start of the game.

Yes, I know, it's a long process, but once you do it several times, you will be able to breeze through it quickly. The same process can be used to play for achievements while also enjoying mods that only affect galaxy generation.. system names, larger galaxies with more stars, more start system options (as long as they only add new system generations and not new things to the game like new planet classes or planet modifiers that require them to remain in the mods list).
