Just Star Names (Continued)

Description
This mod is a continuation of EdFromEarth's fantastic Just Star Names Mod, now updated to account for Stellaris' new localisation changes. Tested and running fine on Stellaris 4* You can find the original mod here;

https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1212536129

Features: 6000+ Star Names
This mod offers exactly what's in the title--a pool of about 4500 star names in addition to Stellaris' stock list of ~1500 for much more variety in your galaxy generation. It also includes modestly expanded lists of names for black holes and nebulae as well as a massive variety of new asteroid names.

Compatibility: Nearly Universal
Thanks to a tip from Steam user Gaia, this mod is configured to work alongside others that add a random name list. This mod should be compatible with all DLC and all other mods unless they also create a file named /common/random_names/base/09_random_names.txt.

Confirmed to work with Real Space.

To the best of my knowledge, like similar mods, this will change the checksum since it overwrites files in the /common folder. Accordingly, it's not achievement compatible.

Contents: Alpha Andromedae to Omega Vulpeculae
Thousands of new names for star systems taken from Bayer designations (Alpha Tauri, Epison Eridani, Tau Ceti, Omega Scorpii, etc.) and real proper names (Alpheratz, Lucida Anseris, Otoroshi, etc.) that add to the original stock of names in Stellaris.

If you enjoy this mod, favourite it and give it a positive rating so others can find it more easily.

PS: If the original author wishes me to take this down then I will happily do so.

Can you please update this for 3.14 and possibly add a total of 10k names?

Don't see why it wouldn't be; just been updated to include compatibility with potential new star systems.

Still compatible with 3.14?

Hi guys;

Apologies for the long delay (been drowning in work, and the flu to boot).

I've updated the mod to the latest version (3.14). Tested and it runs fine (also tested a Voidworm spawn system and it was OK too).

Any problems, let me know!

Hi @MarsJenkar - you're absolutely right. I've been inundated with work this week so have been unable to address the issue properly. Apologies for this.

Pretty sure I found the issue. Your localization file overwrites the vanilla one for these random names, and any new names that are in the vanilla file that don't appear in yours don't work properly. That includes not only the Voidworm systems, but a number of special hidden systems, generally used for the Treasure Hunters quests. Adding those systems to your file would be a simple enough quick-fix since those particular systems appear all in one block at the end of the localization file, though at some point you might check to make sure that the other system names in the vanilla file are handled in yours.

Yeap same problem. Voidworm systems appear to have broken names. Sure makes it easier to spot them though!

Probably this mod being out of date. I can look into it.
