Doublechecked with only the Polynian species mod. Yeah, the ship is still on the Biological section
I took the liberty to check what may cause this behavior, and from the looks of it, it seems that the ai_01 graphical culture, which you used for the shipset, does not have a ship_kinds entry. This may have caused it to get confused.
That's an issue indeed !
Will try to fix that asap
Also when I say 'Biological' I mean it's part of the meat ships for Biogenesis mod. The ships you use are obviously made of metal and not biomass XD
I don't like mechanical shipset tbh xD
I always use a custom shipset anyway when playing
Let's hope it will not break everything lol

And, would you please make a plant version?
I really love this mod ,but sometimes I also want a start with organic or plant origin.

Please let me know if you encounter any issue !
Please be patient ^^
We will also add more portrait as well =P
maybe a version conflict
I just tested it like 5 minutes ago and it work perfectly fine !
It must be a conflict on your side I'm afraid =/
Glad you managed to find the solution of your problem, modding with Stellaris can be messy sometime xD
