If you want, we can work together on the flexScript mini-software of my "More Picks & Points: Traits|Civics|Ethics [FLEX EDITION]" mod, and I can extend it to auto-update your mod, so everyone is happy, and frees up a bit of your time. I did that for the users of my mod, so they can autoupdate it whenever stellaris is updated.

I love this mod, among the best
OR make it part of your mod to focus on civilian trade instead of security fleets.
I might be able to hack a workaround together. I will take a look this weekend, no promises though
