I only have one comment. Your files may overwrite changes made by other mods. I noticed this when using Mastery of Nature. This mod in /replace/MasterNature_Replace_l_english.yml changes the text in describe_decision_mastery_of_nature. Your mod overwrites these changes (file replace/replace_traditions_l_english.yml).
Could you think about renaming the files so that they load before everyone else?
(Expansion of them would in general be extra good since there's so few and they show up almost every game. E.g. "Orthodoxy" for awakened spiritualists.)
And if you did want to add some "subtle" FP names, some references may be the way to go, e.g. the "Path of Now and Forever" (from Star Control).
On the contrary, it actually makes sense - note that the Fanatic Purifiers derive legitimacy from the very fact that they are providing their citizens a means of mass murdering all other lifeforms. FP is not *actually* like real-world genocidal governments, because FPs have ZERO use for external diplomacy - they deal only in internal affairs, and that overriding affair is murder-of-not-them. They really are more like omnicidal/edgelord cults :P.
(Alternatively, it could make sense because, in the absence of real diplomatic contact, the OTHER empires would create the commonly-used names for the empire, and they would obviously not use 'diplomatic' ones.)
7) similarly, on the awakened xenophilic FE list, "Peacekeepers" was changed to "Hedony" -- this one I have a bigger problem with than the others (which would generally be good additions, just not replacements) since "Hedony" isn't a standard English word (it's probably a reference to a Star Trek episode) AND since its implied meaning (government built around the value of hedonism) doesn't fit anyway for a generic xenophilic FE. However, there are overtly hedonistic fallen empires (which can be xenophilic, xenophobic, or materialist) for which the term would be appropriate, if it's possible to check for that.
8) similarly, on the awakened spiritualist FE list, "Fanatics" is replaced by "Axiom" -- which doesn't even fit
9) awakened machine FE list is missing "Custodian_Process" entry
1) missing the ENTIRE purifiers name list
2) missing the "Company" entry from the megacorp list
3) missing the "Horde", "Devourers", and "Raveners" entries from the devouring swarm list
4) on the xenophobic fallen empire list, "Remnant" and "Vestige" entries are replaced by "Crucible" and "Supremacy" (couldn't these just be added to the list, rather than replacing existing entries?)
5) similarly, on the materialist FE list, "Chroniclers" was changed to "Preservers"
6) similarly, on the awakened xenophobic FE list, "Reclaimers" and "Reconquerors" were changed to "Imperium" and "Resurgency"
