After looking at it a bit more, I'm pretty sure it's because the darkvision psycast has no effect on the sight stat, and just removed the light effect

I don't see the Darkvision buff granted by the new psycasts in vanilla psycasts expanded in the health menu to set up night vision on it, is that normal? It still seems to apply a condition to eyes, so I'm not sure what the difference is on that compared to all the other health effects, and why it's not recognized, I'll probably ask on the VE discord about it.

I stand corrected. After discussing it with a member of the VE team on discord, they have fixed the conflict on their end as it was a quick/easy one to do. It should work fine now.

Don't know if it's been mentioned before, but the night vision goggles are categorized as headwear instead of eye wear for some reason, making it impossible to wear them with a hat for instance. Is this intentional?

On my favorite list for years. In my recent playthrough I noticed Tinted Goggles don't seem to be respected by Ideology.

With 'Tunnelers' meme and 'Darklight Preferred' you get a negative thought when in Bright or Indoor light.

Same thing with SOS2 EVA helmets even after I flagged them as 'protects from bright light' in the mod options.

I have been wanting to make a mole people tribe where they live in dark caves. Maybe you could add an opposite trait to make some people less functional in dark? Night Blind or something like that? Would be cool to have a colony entirely in darkness but outsiders have a bad time.

:+1: for Camo and Stealth compatibility, if you have the time! It's a perfect combination; and it looks like CAS's got a fairly simple XML tag you could add to night-vision goggles and archotech eyes.

Dr Zhivago, those errors should only appear once when the mod is checking saved settings and removing entries related to mods that have been removed. Perfectly fine to ignore

I think this may not be compatible with CE after some new features added in 1.1, need to do some tests to find out.

I don't suppose that this works with CAS - night vision would negate the "target in darkness" accuracy penalty, etc.

apologies for all of this, been testing for a incompatibility all night, and also just tested it again on my pc and mac, and found out it's not a mac only issue, it's an issue with this mod and level this!
