this is a desperately needed mod to make the barbaric despoiler civic useful because raiding is now pretty lucrative. Look at the Aspec vids

for me the market works fine its just that there has to be a empire that has a slave based economy and is needing more slaves otherwise the slaves you put up for sale are just going to sit there.

I agree this mod should be updated to 2.2 because raiding still isn't worth it. Also, I'm not sure the slave market is working right yet.

I've yet to play 2.2 with Nihilistic Acquisition. Is it worthwhile now without this mod?

Vanilla 2.2 has increased the abduction rate 4x compared to vanilla 2.0 if I'm remembering the old bombardment stance values correctly; 2.2 raiding uses "kill_pop_chance = 1.0" which is on par with the 2.2 Armageddon stance and 4x the value of 2.2 and 2.0 Selective bombardment.

I think post-2.1 there was an ai modifier added to 00_bombardment_stances.txt that disables raiding on "owner = { NOT = { is_hostile = root.owner } }" which isn't in this mod, probably to get khan/marauder fleets unstuck occassionally.

Hey Author any idea how to change the minimum of 4 pops per planet that abduction is possible?
I edited it in the fleet bombardment stances file but it seemed to have no effect ; ) any ideas would be grateful for help ; /. This minimum of 4 pops makes this civic no useable in the early game.
