3.6 has killed this mod

In 3.6, Paradox made it such that Occupied Planets no longer provide resources to the owner. Unfortunately, they've done so in a way that prevents the production and upkeep numbers from being accessed. With that, this mod is dead. There are some potential workarounds, but I don't know if I want to go that route. As well, maybe Paradox makes me life easier in a future update and makes it such that I can still get the numbers.




You now gain resources from occupied planets. You also pay for the upkeep of the pops on those planets.




Sieges:

- Planets in occupied systems will no longer provides resources. They are effecitvely isolated.

Occupation:

- Once planets are occupied, they will begin supplying the production and upkeep to the occupier. The owner of the planet will lose the production and upkeep.

Notes:

- Deposits will appear on your capital planet that detail exactly what the production and costs are.

- It may take 2-3 months for resoureces to correctly appear.

- Mining/Research/Food stations in occupied systems will no longer provide resources.

- Research is a resource.

- Unity does not transfer. Will look at what to do with that later.

- Only applies to vanilla resources (for now).

Weirdness:

- Unfortunately, due to modding limitations, I have not yet dealt with megastructures. I will see what I can do about them in the future.

- Additionally, the capital planet is not affected by these mechanics. Not too realistic altogether, but for a variety of reasons it was the easiest way to make the mod work.

- The owner of planets can still choose what jobs they want their pops to do when it is occupied. For the AI, this is irrelevant, but for players this can be cheesy if you just unemploy all your pops when an AI takes over, for example. There is no way around this for now.
