This was an amazing mod. Unfortunately, most of the ideas of this ended up getting integrated into the game by the publisher over time. When this came out, was truly ground-breaking.

Miss this mod. Wish I knew enough about modding Stellaris to update it at least for my own use. Anyway, thanks for making it, I got a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Hi Echo. Great to see this mod still is with us. My favourite mod by far. Just started a new game in 2.5.1 Seems to be working ok. Running with synthetic networked intelligence. I noticed the traditions are still aimed around food and pop growth and the cybernetic tradition was not there. Is that how it used to be or is it a bug. Thanks

I tried going with a synthetic NI and the pops consumed food and not energy as normal. The civic's description says they should only use energy, but I assumed that was changed for balance reasons and the text was left over from a previous version... until I saw that they get a massive food production penalty which means it more than likely isn't working properly.

Seems to work with 2.3, so I updated the version. Again, please tell me if you find any bugs.

The last update for this mod was at the end of last year.
There have been a lot of changes to the base game since then, so it'll need an update.

But if the author is not playing Stellaris anymore, I doubt that they'll update teh mod anymore.

Is this mod the reason I can't build armies?

Under the armies tab, I can hit the recruit button and a window pops up on the right (presumably where the species would be listed to draft) but the window is empty.

Or am I missing something in the recent changes to the game?

I have loved this mod for a while now. I just tried to start a game with a Megacorp government and it seemed to supress the technology that is normally available. I was able to choose all your civics with Megacorp too.

Can I ask for some ZOFE compatibility? When i become an AE, I lose my civics and all the pops get the disconnected malus. An event to restore my previous NI would be appreciated, or something on those lines. I was cybernetic, but i'm getting biology

Fun mod, one of the first i ever installed in Stellaris! It seems now you can achieve networked status after game start, but what are the condition? I would prefer cybernetic, but i'm getting biology

Not sure if its something on my end or not but as of 2.2 this mod seems to be incompatible with Planetary Diversity. Every time i tried using an empire that was a psionic networked intelligence with a Planetary Diversity homeworld the game crashed.

@Voidbot This is already possible. After researching the vanilla Terraform tech you should get a tech option "Ruthless Production". This will unlock a planetary Decision to convert the planet (not the normal terraforming system).

@Kuroi Sakura: That’s a vanilla problem with the module weights.

@BelPontas: Synthetic NI is meant to be played with a robotic species. Unfortunately I have found no non-intrusive way to restrict the Civic to only robotic species.

@WWDragon: I don’t have a version for 1.9, sorry.

I can't select any of the computers for my ships; the mod keeps reverting them back to NI computers when I don't WANT NI computers. @_@

biological races with synthetic networked intelligence dont count as robotic for machine worlds and robot specific production bonuses

Would you be willing to upload your last version of NI for 1.9.x to the workshop?
I've confirmed that 2.x's hyperlanes only sucks far beyond any improvements, so I'll only be playing 1.9.x.
