The issues is caused by this asset:

System.NullReferenceException: Loading custom asset failed [Random Security Doors_variation_1]

@zzzptm - no, i've tested on multiple PCs with multiple different installations: Not all of the props where useable ingame (4 of 11) and i where able to reproduce LOD issues with just these assets subscribed. No other assets and only Harmony, Patchloader and Skyve active at all.

I have these assets used at many places, it does not affect my game at all. I do not think that these assets were really breaking someone's gamesave.

Just in case anyone is wondering still.... yeah, these assets are broken and may cause problems for your game. It's also quite obvious the author has long since abandoned this game and asset, so don't expect a fix.

It seems to work fine but LOT2 and compatibility report say this should be unsubbed. Anyone know why? It says it causes problems, even though I personally haven't seen any.

I created a District Style called "Slums" for inner cities and am now doing one called "Bad Side of Town" for smaller towns or suburbs.

Do you have a collection of low density single-family houses using these assets?

@aubergine18 no, its not broken and it will not break games. I use these props on half of my assets. It will not break with or without loading screen mod. I don't know what it is that causes your error, but it will not break games

This asset is still broken - just saw this in log file today:

[LSM] !GetSecondaryAssetRefs 722043706.Random Security Doors

I think LSM might be better managing the error now, but for anyone without LSM it will break their game.

@Lemonster: It's not just a missing prop asset - those are super common and don't break anything. It's specifically a _null_ asset - in other words, it exists but it's value is null.

Been using some of these props for a while (especially the trash) and no problems, certainly not throwing an exception

Here's what I've been able to ascertain:

There was an older version of a mattress included within this asset. That older mattress has been removed and replaced with a newer version.

Older assets that use old version of the mattress will cause the mattress to appear on the Loading Screen Mods missing asset list.

Newer assets that use the new version of the mattress will work seamlessly.

As for this appearing on the broken and bloated list, I had the TM:PE team relook at this asset and they still say it has problems and they will not remove it from their list.

Personally, I have found that this asset works fine. If there's a problem, it's behind the scenes and hasn't effected my game or the assets that use it.

@sonofnitrous i wish i could do a lot! lol, but there's nothing. The utility meter i include used a bench as a template so people would sit on it, so i corrected that. nothing of note

You have 722043706 but it does not contain mattress_Data. Name probably changed by the author.How to solve such a mistake?It affects me using another Mod.I can't see your answer. My English sucks

@sekani did you read the previous comments? it's not an error. I updated the mattress and was very sure that it had the same file name. For whatever reason, the game doesn't recognize the new asset as the old one. And there's absolutely nothing that can be done about it now tho.
