Ok, I figured out how to make it show up. It does NOT play well with the old DX11 version so you need to make sure you remove not just that mod, but any DX11 ramp you've built (which you should before removing the mod anyway) AND any place where you put it in the gmenus. Then do a clean save with neither mod included. Open, save, close, load, settings, mods, then include the extending ramp mod. Now when you open that game, the extending ramp should be available. I'm no expert so some of these steps may be unnecessary but this is what worked for me.

I'm not seeing the buildable block. Is this mod broken or am I just missing it?

- 2x1 extending to 6m
- 3x1 extending to 9m

I second the creation of an SG variant, since the "Boarding Ramp DX11" no longer works! I'm also asking for more ramp angle (ie: 90 degree, 45 degree, ground vehicle) variants.

I don't like having to use hinges or rotors to build boarding ramps unless I have to, and I'm sure most people agree with me! If Captain Jack or Chipstix123 chooses not to, someone PLEASE create more variants, since all the old ones don't work anymore - that I know of.

Thanks for looking it over, the outside button is a bit of a hack to stop locking yourself out.
Unfortunately interaction area will not move with the rest mesh. If you check the same place the interaction will still be there.

Just tested. It is air-tight (nicely done), but, I found that the exterior button does not work when the ramp is extended, which is a bit annoying. Maybe put the button on a non-moving portion of the structure perhaps? or make an additional auto-close feature that can be turned on for the block allowing the exterior button once pushed to activate a timer that after a set time will close the ramp again, thus allowing the exterior button to once again work to open the ramp. (for modder purview;mod downloaded/steam 12 of October)

can you do one like https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1491341081 after both this one and his ramp mod broke it tore up most of the ships that can carry rovers and the ones that used the small ramp were fixed by this one

btw I like this ramp better

Would it be possible to have one that has a door at the top and is a completely sealed block. Maybe even with a vent hookup.

This is Great, may I ask if you've considered making this same part available in Small Grid?
This would be a good fit for the Boat Parts Mod if it is indeed Airtight.

Slower is better for physics as if it moves too fast the everything phases through

Buildinfo reports 16 of 22 faces sealed, so you mightve missed one.
Leak finder points to the entire ramp section, but the rest of it is airtight

@chipstix213 Exact copy wasn't the right term for it, my apologies. I'm glad to see an updated version of this mod though. I used it a lot on some of my older ship designs.

@Mr Yukari, I don't know how you think that this is an exact copy of that other mod. The art is definitely different. And even if they copied the code from the other mod (which I doubt they did), they would still have needed to add some more code, because the other one doesn't have an extension.

Check yourself before making ridiculous accusations!
They may have gotten the IDEA from that mod but there is no way in hell either of these individuals would play about with their integrity as NOTED modders to do such a thing as you've suggested.

If this does well I'll be encouraged to work on more. I want to make sure the multiplayer issue with the older ones isn't effecting this one.

I very much like the design, my only question is, can you switch between a height of 1 to 2 blocks? Many of my designs use a single block height of landing gear and it would awesome if I could find a landing ramp that was variable. Nice design!
