To make the mod compatible with b42 all you need to do is create a 42 and a common folder and copy the media file, poster, and mod.info files into to the 42 folder

@champy Could you make a time decreases zombie condition? like for example, a recently infected zombie is a sprinter, with with good eyesight, hearing, its smart it can naviagate and open doors, and everything else. And overtime the longer it lives the more weaker it becomes and then it eventually dies. can you make that mod?

Is it possible to add a check to ensure part hierarchy is followed? e.g. making sure car doors aren't removed without also removing the car windows, so they aren't just floating there on nothing?

will this mod effect cars that are spawned via pink slips and the car wanna mod? when using them they spawn with no charge in the battery or parts damaged which indicate this mod? This is on a server that i host.

@Viper "Greatly damage" means the part's condition will be reduced to below 15%

i'm just starting with this mod and one thing I'm a little confused about. All the sandbox settings seem to apply a chance to damage, but i don't see any indication of *how much* the applied damage will be or how to change that... at best what I see is the description above where it says "greatly damage". Champy, can you give me some idea of how much the applied % damage is for parts when the chance lands?

@novaflect To start with vehicle badly damaged, simply set the Start Chance to 50, just like the Peak Chance.
@Q10 No. The damage is checked and applied on a car only when it spawns. Never after.
@aquelarrefox It doesn't make a daily check. It checks only when the car spawns and never again.

How does it work? It make a dayly check? for example if i put start 90days and peak 360 days, should i reduce the general chances value?

Any vehicle that has its radio removed by this mod gives an error when trying to install a radio in it. The radio simply disappears. This happens even with no other mods installed.

Это влияет на посещённые игроком автомобили? Или правила "старения" не действуют только на последнее авто? Прекрасный мод. Играл раньше с "Worse Vehicle Condition", он рассчитан на более поздний старт, скорее всего... Но то, что автомобили "старели" уже в начале игры мне казалось нереалистичным и сложным... Спасибо за мод!

И ещё вопрос. Будет ли мод наносить когда-нибудь ржавчину на все авто?!

MOD will allow you to remove almost all parts in cars? It is necessary that almost all cars have 2-3 parts maximum.

So unlike worse vehicle condition that makes all cars spawn in damaged state when the world generates, this mod allows pristine cars you visit to stay pristine?

It does work.
When you spawn in, so do the cars.
That means it's day 1, and condition is also the same as day 1.

When you move, you make more cars spawn in, so if 10 days passed and you find a new car, 10 days worth of damage has been done to them.

not working properly in solo, when i spawn in a bunch of cars spawn around me fully repaired as in vanilla, only after i start moving other cars start spanwing with the mod active.

I get the idea behind this mod but the biggest issue is that the first thing to be deleted is the car seats, which means you can't get into vacant vehicles to loot them. Mod gets a big thumbs down from me. :cupdown:

As a side note to anyone else who loves the mod but also found never working headlights and radios to be a problem, you can manually remove the lines from the lua file in server folder to prevent these parts being touched when the script runs.

Thank you for the mod, Champygnakx, it's just what I've been looking for.

After installing this mod and fixing a car and also giving it new lightbulbs, which were missing, pressing F to turn on the lights does nothing, and if I turn on the lights on the dashboard menu, the model changes to make it look like the lights are on, but it does not light up the road.
Tested with and without this mod active, and sadly this mod is the cause.

Hi! First of all, love your mods. This new playthrough I've decided to add this one and loot decrease mod. Just one question tho, will all cars lose their condition over time, even the ones I have collected? Thanks

Hey! I apologize if this has already been reported, but in case it hasn't: I'm part of an admin team on a large server and we're testing some things including this mod. It seems that if a vehicle spawns without headlights or a radio (i.e., they are removed by the missing part chance var), that the headlights can never be turned on even if installed afterward, and the radio can also never be turned off even if a new one is installed. You might want to, at least, put a toggle in the Sandbox to prevent those from ever being removed.
