Tip: If you are playing as Void Dwellers, planetary ringworld would be disabled, due to a disability of Voidborne Tradition perk.

Just two triggers:
is_planetary_ringworld_machine = { is_planet_class = pc_planetary_ringworld_machine }
is_planetary_ringworld_hive = { is_planet_class = pc_planetary_ringworld_hive }
This allows to refer to the triggers (that can easily have placeholders) so the error log won't complain a hundred of times if the mod is not present.

I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you're asking. Are you asking for a scripted trigger file that categorizes the ringworlds together like the base game does? If not, can you provide more specific instructions for what you want done?

Hi, for compatibility purposes, I would need two small scripted triggers, one for is_planet_class = pc_planetary_ringworld_machine and one for is_planet_class = pc_planetary_ringworld_hive.

For some reason, my Stellaris mod load order config would show the mod in my load order, but the mod listing in the Workshop showed I was not subscribed. To correct this issue, in the mod load order, I had to disable this mod, then enable it again, which forced a update so I'm now listed as subscribed...

I forgot to mention, one of the features added from Marrow's version of the mod is that the requirements for building Planetary Ringworlds have been changed. It now requires the Voidborn ascension perk and the Planetary Ringworlds technology. So if you find you haven't been able to choose the option to build them yet, that's why.

@CrepeSoda the rings are all the same size, which will fit around a size 30 planet. If you're asking about the rings themselves, there does appear to be code in the mod for upgrading rings to a second tier that's size 25, but the code appears to be incomplete.

There's a couple ways. If you have a Google Drive account you can send it that way, combine all of the changes onto a single document for me to copy over. I dunno if it's possible to send PDFs through Steam, but if it's possible I can just copy down the changes that way.

Hmm...I don't know what's causing that. I haven't modified my files at all from what's been published, and on my end it's showing up on both the Construction Ship screen and when right-clicking a valid planet with Voidborne, Mega Engineering, and with enough Alloys.

I'm trying this mod out and have no idea to build it. I have Voidborne and Mega Engineering yet it isn't showing up as an option to build in the construction ship like other megastructures...am I missing something? I have Utopia and its the only mod currently installed for testing purposes.

@[WTP] Fire Fox I'm sorry for the delay, I had to go to work but I'm back now. I checked both in-game and in the mod files, and it turns out that building a Planetary Ringworld around a planetary body with a rare deposit did not create a corresponding deposit on the habitat. Emphasis on "did". I've updated the mod, and now when constructing Planetary Ringworlds around planets with the following deposits (Alloys, Exotic Gases, Rare Crystals, Volatile Motes, Zro, Dark Matter, Living Metal, and Nanites) a matching deposit will be added to the habitat. This sadly does not affect already existing Planetary Ringworlds.

I am absolutely going to add this mod, but a quick question: Do the ringworlds act like habitats when built above planets with special resources and allow building the appropriate buildings to exploit them? (So building one above a world with a exotic gas deposit would allow the building to exploit that)

@Stormtopia Planetary Ringworlds have two requirements at the moment: the Ascension Perk "Voidborne", and the technology "Mega-Engineering". Once those two requirements are fulfilled, Planetary Ringworlds will be available to build in orbit of non-gas giant planets.

@T-VIRUS (BEING CENSORED) That would be difficult to do. The reason Utopia is required is because one of the requirements for building a planetary ringworld is the Voidborn ascension perk.

The mod has been updated. Sorry if any compatibility patches with other megastructure mods have broken, as part of the update was to switch planetary ringworlds over to the district set system, and to replace the Galactic Wonders requirement for having the Mega Engineering technology.
