Gabbens 19 mar, ore 9:39
Is this mod dead?
Antares93 3 feb, ore 19:25
Would " killer hivemind swarm empires" be more inclined to start attacking, or would they also be at peace with the rest?
Cúchulainn 15 gen, ore 21:23
Thank you for explaining @roosterfareye . Let's just be grateful that we had this beauty in our lives and hopefully the developer may come back one day to work on this again. In the meantime, Slava Ukraini :Stab:
roosterfareye 10 dic 2024, ore 6:09
Salvor, the developer, is Ukrainian. Oldent, who was updating it on Salvors behalf, on account of, well, Salvor being possibly distracted by other things, has stopped due to the constant bleating.

If you really want to use this mod, you can sub to an older version and rollback your game. Alternatively, I believe ariphaos unofficial Stellaris patch, which is maintained, on account of possibly not having to worry about cruise missiles etc etc streaking in, contains components of this and other mods.

I can't play the game without this AI. The vanilla AI is just so freaking bad. I won the entire galaxy with a fleet of corvettes in 50 years, with maximum difficulty settings.

It's so hard to make StarTech works with every version of the game... why won't devs incorporate mods like these to the game ?
LAJ-47FC9 2 dic 2024, ore 16:10
It's not dead, it's undergoing a total rework - and I'm pretty sure that's happening in the middle of a war zone, too. Be nice.
Tribuno 2 dic 2024, ore 10:06
this mod needs to be officially implemented into the game. Here the AI is freeloading for the first 20 years, quietly developing the economy, like a real player, and then it starts investing resources in building an unprofitable fleet. Moreover, it competently develops industry and the economy, in general. I watched how the AI operates in observer mode now and it is a laughing stock against the background of this mod. It is a great tragedy that the mod was abandoned both by the author and by paradoxes. A dumb degenerate AI sends 1 science ship to explore space and accumulates 1000 influence. It's painful to watch! PAINFUL!
Tribuno 2 dic 2024, ore 9:34
This mod is nowhere near integrated into the game. The AI is as dumb as a cork tree without it.
þewé 17 nov 2024, ore 19:45
update????????
bizmaster The Slav 4 nov 2024, ore 9:45
this mod has long since been integrated into the base game (kinda), so the developer did the right thing to wipe it clean to make ground for something new in the future.

It doesn't work, the mod is not updated or developed. The files are empty and do not change anything in the game.
Lufian 5 ott 2024, ore 1:57
In the change log: 3.12: Wiped the mod until a proper rework can be written. https://github.com/OldEnt/stellaris-startech-ai
cvlt 3 ott 2024, ore 13:31
The Mod Folder has no changing mod files. Starnet is just an empty folder with a "descriptor.mod" file with just some commands and descriptions and the thumbnail png :c i feel betrayed
Ahmet 29 set 2024, ore 13:20
guys if you want ultimate stellaris experiance use ultimate customization mod and add scaling diffuculty. these AI mods proper features added to the base game long ago. with scaling diffuculty i played most enjoyable game of my stellaris career. i played ensign diffuculty, scaling: +%1 resources from jobs and navalcap per year. starting bonuses static +%50 research speed and monthly unity too. in the game i had medicore luck, and i was in the very miiddle strenght in the whole galaxy. highly recommended
Lufian 12 set 2024, ore 6:50
@Jon makes sense, otherwise people will be moaning in the comments that the mod isn't working
Sipherion 12 set 2024, ore 6:43
is this compatible with cosmic storms?
Jon 4 set 2024, ore 6:57
There's actually a note left in the Change Notes if you check the most recent upload. The mod was wiped until a proper rewrite can be done and then links to the Github. So in all likelyhood, that's exactly what's happening, and it was wiped to prevent people trying to run it on the most recent version where it probably will have a lot of issues cropping up.
Ser Longus 17 ago 2024, ore 17:01
Damn just found out the mod was wiped. I thought my game was so easy, my every neighbor has pathetic fleet Intel :D I hope you'll update it soon, I never had a chance to try it yet but heard a lot of good things :)
Observer 10 ago 2024, ore 18:39
Both their profiles are private; if they want to communicate, it's up to them.
Emmanuel DH 10 ago 2024, ore 17:37
hey buddy, i think people want to know what is happening
Dustreaper 29 lug 2024, ore 11:04
Oh great had 2 games with this one because it's not mention in the desc probably the reason where it should be put.. This pissed me off.
Morgan the Manakete 24 lug 2024, ore 22:48
The mod file is empty. All it has is a descriptor and thumbnail, no actual contents.
This applies to all Starnet AI, Starnet for NSC3 and Startech.
Do not use until it gets fixed
Morcalvin 29 giu 2024, ore 0:13
Is this compatible with NSC3?
Seelenschwarz 18 giu 2024, ore 0:20
A mod without any function can do nothing xD

its still a empty folder....
Tribuno 16 giu 2024, ore 7:10
I checked by disabling this mod. An ordinary AI is capable of not breaking galactic law.
Tribuno 16 giu 2024, ore 7:09
be careful, the mod doesn’t work well, it can’t bypass sanctions and all that
kinngrimm 4 giu 2024, ore 6:18
Does creating fleets to take out Leviathans or just some ameba influence the AI to increase fleets and agression on all fronts?
Seelenschwarz 2 giu 2024, ore 6:08
actually the mod is a empty folder, it becomes a rewrite i think.
Клоун 24 mag 2024, ore 7:53
Any plans on update?
buhbuhbuhbish 24 mag 2024, ore 1:02
the ai just grabs all systems around its homeworld then sits there
Kapi 12 mag 2024, ore 7:06
Can confirm, it is unplayable when playing individualist machines, because assembly building is showing "Replicator" job instead what it's supposed to be "Roboticist", therefore no new pops are being assembled
Lolz 11 mag 2024, ore 10:35
Odd bug with this mod and 3.12: This mod (at least) disables the ability for individual machine empires to build assembly buildings, and also prevents genesis arc empires from using their special colony ship type.

I have tested a save with only this mod enabled and this bug occurred, so it is not caused by any of the other mods I typically use.
Granas 24 apr 2024, ore 7:39
For me the AI is teching but not aggressive at all. Any ideas why? Any suggestions what to do?
PeachySnail183444 27 mar 2024, ore 9:29
how does this mod handle vassals and subjugation?
Bardagh 22 mar 2024, ore 11:37
@Sazaphahiel try Starnet (the mod this was forked off of).
EnyuStar 19 mar 2024, ore 17:31
@zacharygustafson1 Gigastructural Engineering & More Mod lets you set a habitat limit that's either determined by 3 choosable configs: pop count, owned system count, or a hard empire limit. If you dont like all the fancy megastructures and additions you can disable EVERYTHING in the in-game gui that shows up on a new galaxy start
zacharygustafson1 18 mar 2024, ore 16:25
Does anybody know any mods that limit AI habitat spam and is compatible with this mod? The one I normally use doesn't work with it.
Sazapahiel 5 mar 2024, ore 16:16
I would love a way to toggle the starting truce. My multiplayer group desperately wants more challenge from the ai, but being able to completely ignore them for the first 40 years makes things silly easy for us.
Starempire42 3 mar 2024, ore 11:30
Hey got a question is this compatible with nsc3?
Bardagh 19 feb 2024, ore 0:09
Does the starting truce apply to genocidal empires?
Bardagh 18 feb 2024, ore 13:41
How does the modded AI handle the player building an early fleet?
K sergeant 10 feb 2024, ore 19:00
My favorite mod. People say vanilla is enough, but it's overwhelmingly different from mid to late. Sadly, however, the ai don't go to war until the end of the game:(
2.11 What has been updated?
The Specialist 3 feb 2024, ore 12:12
This mod is more of a global handicap to the player than any significant change to AI behavior. I cannot recommend this.
Naitmerr 3 feb 2024, ore 0:56
Be aware that this mod prevents the upgrade of Civilian Industries to Civilian Fabricators and Alloy Foundries to Alloy Mega-Forges, patch 3.10.4.
I don't have any other mods that modify the gameplay. Once I disable this mod everything goes back to normal.
This was a crucial mod to have, but Since 3.8 the vanilla AI is good enough anyway.
Tribuno 1 feb 2024, ore 13:09
Please add the ability to donate. This mod is vital for the game
Ulthar 15 gen 2024, ore 15:27
I would love for something like this, except it prevents vassalizing everything and reduces federations
Arrogant Worm 23 dic 2023, ore 1:13
I mean it was updated december 10th sooo.... Maybe?
bizmaster The Slav 13 dic 2023, ore 20:37
so.... does it work now?
