You only need the 1 line you changed in your modded Defines file... Make it smaller and merge with other mods if needed! :)
People like you and I need to try to think of shattered retreat just a visual representation of every man fleeing for himself and the victorious army is too tired and spread out to pursue, while the remnants of the defeated army come back together later at a predetermined rally point. Hopefully one day there is a feature or mod that simulates how defeated armies escaped and recombined.
