I agree with Vincent, this is a really good map that will stand the test of multiple play throughs. Many thanks for the work you put into making this map/mod.

@Arkelanova_Blaze You are likely using Vulkan which some early maps weren't optimized for. Switch to D3D by going to performance settings in game, hitting the gear icon, and scrolling to the bottom.

Well, I really wanted to like this map; but I hate Jeff and I hate trying to force it to do something other than get away from me. Jeff is like Jar Jar, it wasn't ever a good idea. :steamthumbsdown:

Still one of my favorite maps to this day, but this was the first workshop submission that I decided to create a video for back during Covid summer. I even gave some feedback which Nyon used to make some minor adjustments. Playing it again today, not only does it hold up amazingly well, but to me it's definitely a 10/10 rating for a multitude of reasons. i'm playing through at the moment. Loved it so far, but now I'm past Jeff, through the vents and have made it through the immediate battle, but I can't get the SMG. I can get the grub next to it, but nothing I do will allow me to get the SMG, which is a bit of a problem, because I don't have enough ammo for the part after the gun upgrade.

I'll say it: Better than C17yscape. A bit shorter, but not by much. And unlike C17tyscape (which is still a must-have) this one doesn't have "stuck civilians" and other non-emersive glitches. Small hint: You'll need Jeff's help.

Absolutely stellar! My favorite chapter from the main game was Chapter 7-Jeff.. and I've played it at least a dozen times. You've taken it to a new level.. all the things you have to do.. and how additionally intuitive Jeff is.. make him even scarier than in the main game! Amazing!

Fantastic map. Jeff part was done perfectly. G-Man easter egg was creepy. Felt just like a level from original game. Keep up the good work!

the jeff part was ABSOLUTELY brilliant. incredible job. i would LOVE to see you do a sequel, where you encounter jeff multiple times as you explore.

Also, I would've tried to better telegraph that the door could be broken by jeff, cus it took me several minutes to realize it.

Loved the Jeff part, really innovative puzzle design, a lot of unique puzzles. I espically liked the idea of using jeff to open doors. Was a little stumped at first, but considering most of us played the orginal, figuring that out shouldn't be too tough. Liked the ending combat areana, though something appears to be up with the AI navigation. Probably the narrow paths between crates. Could probably use steel panels instead. Liked the verticallity of having to shoot down. A little bit too cramped with enemies, but I get that considering the situation. And the cover was good enough where I could narrow my engagement to at least two at a time. Opening part would have to be my favorite. Lot of fun traversal and simple but efficient zombie placement. Visuals were top notch too! Texture qualtiy in the vents were werid, though.

Clever and great map design there, especially with the use of Jeff! I loved the fact that you can distract him by using the alarm button!

Okay I tried again from the start with what I know now and beat it. This is probably one of the hardest community maps I have played so far but once you figure stuff out its pretty rewarding. I'm just surprised at how difficult I found it lol.

Oh I see it was on the stairs. Jeff blocked the stairway and doorway back so I felt I had no choice but to go through the vent. It sucks that I basically softlocked myself there.

Where was the AR2 supposed to be? I could not find it and so the part on the walkways was impossible for me to complete.

This map is incredible. 20 minutes is such an low guess, it took me 40. The Jeff encounter is the best I've yet seen the community create, and is the most tense I've felt playing a community map thus-far. Amazing work, props to Nyon! :headcrab:

Really great map. Jeff puzzle was very well done. Easily my favorite Add on map to date. Only had one structural issue when coming out of overhead ducts after Jeff puzzle...got stuck above the ductwork and could see all the other rooms. restarting from different save fixed it. Actually was cool to see the map structure. was like being backstage at a production.

@Nyon It turns out to be a problem with rendering when using Vulkan. Switching back to DX11 fixed it. Happy to finally play it !
