I guess this is an Old mod and will not be updated. Also, theres a conflict mod that is preventing the A>I to build ships.

This and NSC functionally conflicted - this created augments and NSC created behavior using ONE SAME SLOT on ship. For my nooby eyes that not patch-able.

This mod overwrites some stuff from the latest NSC, preventing the use of its combat behaviors. Do you think you could look into compatibility? I really like the options this mod gives.

Sounds good. I did start a new game with it active and I have at least had the first tech to upgrade corvettes show up.

It should still work for 2.8 but I haven't really wanted to work on it for a long time since its basically complete at this point honestly.

Took a break from Stellaris for a while and back again, checking if mods I like work with the latest version. Does this work fine with 2.8? There haven't been any comments for 9 months.

I disabled the techs for spears for now while I decide what to do with them. They're still there, but just have a weight of 0.

Aight, so I also run the At War: Advanced Ship Sections (2.6 Compat Update) mod, where I just noticed the same issue being reported. But in the despcription of that mod is said that they don't overwrite vanilla either.

@VXHunter None that I know of. But I have a fairly large modlist, so there might be something I don't remember off the top of my head. I'll take a look and report back.

Alright: So I said the old patch still works, and it does, it just does not have compatibility for Juggernaut and Defense Platform Augmentations after extensive testing, so if that patch (The Battleship brainstorm one) can be updated to include the new stuff, that would be nice, thanks again.

That's strange. I've never had that happen on my end before, as I haven't edited any of the vanilla ship templates except the defense platforms. It's most likely an incompatibility with another mod. I just checked with just this mod installed and I can use all the sections just fine. Do you have any other mods that affect ships in general?

I seem to run into an issue. That being that the vanilla ship sections, at least corvettes so far, have no weapon slots. As I do not have another mod tampering with ship sections, I thought I just drop that here.
