Seconding, planets can indeed spawn with this as their only biome. I don't entirely mind that as it gives me a very solid foundation to start building or hell, terraform the planet into something else, but at the same time it feels very unintended given the barebones planet description.

Also, running into an issue with the parallax, where if you go down underground just far enough you can see the bottom of the city parallax and note it cuts off early and turns white before the transition takes place.
TheEnderDragon 8 Ağu 2023 @ 6:28
Nvm, it actually works.
TheEnderDragon 8 Ağu 2023 @ 5:00
The bees from Frackin' Universe don't work on this planet unfortunately. Can someone make a patch for that?
MythrilBagels 22 Oca 2023 @ 16:43
While I do like the idea, the Parallax feels too high. I wanted to build stuff that feels closer to the ground, but cause of the parallax, I have to dig fairly deep underground, and even then, parts will be considered underground
Kerik 11 Eyl 2022 @ 12:14
heh, sweet
Guardian of Time 15 Oca 2022 @ 23:53
When using this mod with the geeks starter planet for frackin universe I always start on this kind of planet which is bad cause I can't do a thing to advance.
Gileneri 22 Eki 2021 @ 13:28
you should replace the grass and the fields with the thick clouds just like in the earth parallax
Chet Walters 30 Ağu 2021 @ 1:23
Planets generate naturally with this biome. And only this biome. I like that, but sad part is that they are almost completely empty. It would be more fun if they actually had content, and entire cities.
Bam4000 21 Ağu 2021 @ 5:34
Why is there so much rain all the time. please make rain more rare! The sound of rain makes me go carzy!!!
Master Logarius 19 Şub 2021 @ 15:54
Is this clientside or serverside?
Albion The Asinine 18 Şub 2021 @ 1:59
has the odd natural generation bug been patched?
Pixelflame  [yaratıcı] 16 Ara 2020 @ 8:48
@CrocOsnake Yea, it's a known issue. I'm gonna fix it eventually, once i get my assets back, which I'm pretty sure have found.
CrocOsnake 16 Ara 2020 @ 7:57
I love this, it works amazing for building, though why am i finding it naturally generated?
Foolduke 9 Eki 2020 @ 13:26
shit
Pixelflame  [yaratıcı] 9 Eki 2020 @ 11:55
@Foolduke Yes
Foolduke 9 Eki 2020 @ 7:45
Wait, the closer buildings are also part of the paralax aren't they
Tidalbelt 8 Eki 2020 @ 18:45
@Pixelflame5826
took a look at the code for your mod and I found the issue, I forgot caps.
Thank you for helping me, it's greatly appreciated:steamhappy:
Pixelflame  [yaratıcı] 8 Eki 2020 @ 14:42
@rapture0214 Specify that "norandomoffset" is true, should fix the issue.
Tidalbelt 6 Eki 2020 @ 22:07
can I ask how you got the lights to stay where they are on the parallax. I'm having an issue with one of my own mods where the layers I have the lights on keep getting moved on the x axis randomly on different planets.
30mintomidnight 17 Eyl 2020 @ 3:31
thanks for this mode, time to build Earth II for my human colonists :steamhappy:
ABlueHairedFox 18 Tem 2020 @ 18:28
Also, is it possible to change the generation so abandoned mines don't spawn on the planet? Basically making the planet type a lush barren planet
ABlueHairedFox 3 Tem 2020 @ 4:37
I would like to know if it's possible to change the parallax to remove Tower Bridge? I mean, I know the parallax was taken from the starter mission, which takes place in 500 years-in-the-future London, but I would like to build a city here that dosen't look like Omega-London
Tibbs versus Japan 11 Nis 2020 @ 11:23
As was mentioned before, this mod is great no doubt. But for me personally, it would be perfect if the fields and trees weren't there. If they were replaced with an urban sprawl just going as far as could be seen that would be the best.
Pixelflame  [yaratıcı] 31 Mar 2020 @ 10:57
@Cy Well, my mod is popular enough to have 3rd party patches, good to know. But yeah, I gotta get the assets back and I'm working on some other mods so it'll be awhile.
Cy64 31 Mar 2020 @ 9:55
Unsure if it helps, but someones posted their own patched version here:
https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1941228027

Can't wait for a fixed version, rebuilding the protectorate kind of seems like a moot point when there's a city its size naturally generating in every other system.
Davoker 26 Mar 2020 @ 17:02
I encourage you with it, it is a great mod, solving that small problem would already be perfect, it would be interesting that those asphalt blocks are usable, that is, that you can create asphalt blocks with them, or can you already? xD

Good luck and encourage, do not leave it! hehe
Pixelflame  [yaratıcı] 26 Mar 2020 @ 16:25
@davoker Its been a struggle because I've lost some of the assets but it will eventually be updated.
Davoker 26 Mar 2020 @ 9:30
Was the mod updated correcting the error that the user Notrob was commenting on?
chaosMachinery 23 Şub 2020 @ 5:46
ah, yes.
Hera_the_Otter 1 Şub 2020 @ 20:08
Perfect if you want to squat in a city park
Pixelflame  [yaratıcı] 14 Oca 2020 @ 8:30
@RIN
Np. Thanks tho.
WARWOLFMELF 14 Oca 2020 @ 0:56
sorry, i post my question in wrong mod.
However your mod is cool.
Pixelflame  [yaratıcı] 5 Oca 2020 @ 12:37
@Tibbs versus Japan
Yes, you cannot spawn background objects. I don't think that's even possible.
Antago3416 5 Oca 2020 @ 12:03
I think its client side
F_R3DR!C 4 Oca 2020 @ 22:30
Q. is this MP friendly mod?
Tibbs versus Japan 3 Oca 2020 @ 9:27
So the Earth Buildings blueprint is just for the terraformer? Like we can't spawn buildings as background objects or anything?
Pixelflame  [yaratıcı] 20 Ara 2019 @ 16:10
@notrob Nice job man. I'll be sure to do that on the next update.
Flummery Sowans 20 Ara 2019 @ 6:43
@Pixelflame5826 heya - I think I've fixed the mod.
If you remove the last two "op": "add" entries in celestial.config.patch, it removes the City worlds from Tier1 worldgen, but keeps them as world types.
This prevents them spawning but they're still valid planet types, and terraforming produces the "Earth-like City" planet when viewed from orbit.
Pixelflame  [yaratıcı] 11 Ara 2019 @ 15:52
@notrob Well, crap. Must be a coding error, I learned stuff from Citybound but it may have caused a few side effects.
Flummery Sowans 10 Ara 2019 @ 11:58
Hey, I love the biome and the parallax is fantastic (especially night), but I'm having full city worlds generating in my universe.
It's not a huge deal as they don't get in the way, but it breaks immersion a little to have lots of unpopulated city worlds spawning.
Any idea what's up with this?
Sid_Lazy 8 Ara 2019 @ 8:26
Maybe it would be better with clouds instead of grass? Or some little buildings? Grass looks strange in a city like this. It's almost star wars Coruscant :)
Ryu Ketsueki 24 Kas 2019 @ 5:36
Can you make the Planetarium song not stop when underground? It kinds breaks the ambiance when I go to the underground section of one of my buildings
cutieryan 14 Kas 2019 @ 15:36
You did very well on this mod, especially on the lights at night, but I think you're able to improve on how the lights look. As of right now, the buildings in the far back seem a little... too bright and cluttered together to tell the floors apart from one another.

If you want some inspiration on how to improve the city lights, try checking out the United Systems Expansion planets addon, (also on Steam Workshop,) for reference.

I hope this helps, I'm planning to install this mod once I got a new computer.
Texas Redhawk 14 Kas 2019 @ 9:45
Description mentions snowy weather was removed, is there any particular reason for that?
KonaKona 13 Kas 2019 @ 3:09
@Pixelflame5826 Yeah. It is. I'm doing a mod and I need a city landscape for a dungeon. Can I use your biome file if I'll left a link to your mod?
Pixelflame  [yaratıcı] 12 Kas 2019 @ 20:10
@Kep125 Not really, it is a modified version of the lush parallax to replace the cloud layer that is obviously left out.
KonaKona 12 Kas 2019 @ 12:23
Did you draw the grassfield parallax by yourself?
Pixelflame  [yaratıcı] 8 Kas 2019 @ 18:45
@Eti the Spirit
Good idea, the floors will be a simple fix but I'll see about the reflections.
Xan 8 Kas 2019 @ 17:47
The building lights are a point of concern as well. My advice is to make one window take up a considerably larger space, or consider making entire floors lit and some floors unlit rather than random rooms on/off. Finally, consider adding a slightly different color for the lights that are off, because the windows would still reflect the night sky.
MegaMato 6 Kas 2019 @ 20:28
I still think this is great but I think there should be fewer lights on the buildings.
