Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm okay with low-poly SWEPs (as I personally played a lot of old FPS games from that era), I should've said that I don't like low poly characters like NPCs or PMs.

Then you are in the wrong addon buddie. Quake is low-poly, and you should respect its importance. Personally I wished there were more low-poly player models, 99.99% of player models in the workshop clash a lot with HL1, CS:1.6 and Quake maps.

BTW, this PM in particular taking one slot isn't actually problematic IMO and I have this addon enabled, it's actually the Q2 and Q3 PMs that I just disabled due to them taking too many PM slots (since they're separate addons, I just wanted to comment on the first game in the series), if there's like a Quake Champions SWEP pack that had the Ranger model from QC as PM (which of course, it would have a bigger size since it's much more modern than Q1), I would be totally fine having him on my PM list as it's a mere 1 PM slot.

In fact, I already downloaded a file (not on the workshop, but from a Steam discussions topic) to remove all of the default HL2 & CS:S & DOD:S PMs because they were taking too many PM slots over models that I don't find interesting in the slightest and making the PM menu too annoying to navigate through them all the time (that file removes all PMs minus Kleiner and the skeleton in case the game glitches and needs to temporarily bounce back to the Kleiner PM, something which I personally encountered even before I downloaded that file).

@Vanilla Hello! My problem with it isn't about the size, it's actually that it's filling up my PM slots about a model that I don't need (what makes me not want it even more alongside other models is that I don't like low poly models in Gmod, especially not playermodels , the models that I want in Gmod need to at least have slightly better graphics like some early 2000s games. I personally consider games with graphics like SSBM [no addons for this game exist ATM], Metroid Prime, TimeSplitters 2, MGS2 to be good enough to be in Gmod).

@Gamer The addon is only 8 mbs. A few kilobytes of the Ranger isn't going too explode your HDD from 2004

Is there a way to only have the SWEPs without the playermodels? I only want the guns and not these unnecessary PMs that take way too many PM slots, especially since I don't find myself ever wanting to change to any of these models as my PM (in fact, I already downloaded a player_manager.lua file to disable the default CSS and HL2 PMs since I just find them uninteresting).

I want the same with all of the Quake 1/2/3 Gmod addons (have weapons only without PMs. Quake 4 already has separate SWEPs and PM addons, heck, almost every addon from any game on Gmod already has separate SWEP and PM addons).

Hey would you mind adding a configurable setting for ammo and ammo limits? It'd just be cool to be able to have a set limit and not be able to have 3000 grenades or something lol

hello, this addon is extremely fun to play with, i know this addon is fairly old, but is there a way to disable the overlay/screen effects when collecting the power ups, the opacity on them is really high and once theyre stacked together the game becomes unseeable and it hurts my eyes... if there is a way to disable them with a command or tinkering with the files id love to know, im not asking you to update the addon or something like thatm thank you :)

Hey, if you have plans, or ever will, would you make the extra firing modes? (e.g. lava nails, cluster explosives, projectile lightning) oh yeah, AWESOME MOD, use it literally all the time.
