Thanks for this man. While it didn't totally fix my lag problem, it did make it playable.

I just came back to Stellaris, and I haven't played since 2.1.

I remember having large amounts of pops(But only in your empire) was the primary cause of late-game lag back then.

Can someone confirm for me if the trade hub and trade routes do indeed cause late game lag?

Also, does this mod make piracy along trade routes no longer a thing?

Thanks.

I've messed around with the stellaris files to try and prevent stations from automatically collecting trade value, but to no avail.

I looked at where this would need to be changed and it looks like it's in common/ship_sizes/00_starbases.txt defines. Each of the starbase levels defines the collection range so you'd need to remove that.

Starbases will still create trade routes from them to your capital. Maybe stations by themselves should be changed to not collect trade value?

Sorry the noob question, but I haven't arrived to late game yet. Is this the same problem TPRPF attempts to solve? Your solution might be 10x less elegant, but it sounds like it works as well :)

From what i have noticed with trade is that it creates a trade line from every star base i put up so idk if this mod will fix the issue in the late game

@ggokiggoki The Launcher will tell you the mod is outdated, but it wont cause any trouble. :)

Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't the AI have one trade hub by default on the main system's outpost like we do when we start the game? So the 40000 cost is just to prevent it from building more?
ggokiggoki 10. jan. 2019 kl. 21:27
Is it compatible with 2.2.3 version?
CrazyDave 8. jan. 2019 kl. 19:59
Is it possible for you to change the costs for the AI only? I like to increase my trade with offworld trading hubs this mod is only good for Hive/mechanic empires
TheNick2003  [ophavsmand] 7. jan. 2019 kl. 11:53
1 Trade hub is now all you need since its range is basically infinite. The cost is to make sure the AI (or you) wont build them.

So, for clairification...
You're saying that a single trade up in/on a station extends it's trade utilization distance for up to 500 jumps away from the station?? Meaning that 1 per empire is really all you'd ever need?

Additionally, it's cost is 40,000 Alloys (about as much as a Megastructure) for both the player, AND the AI????
