Who wants the developers to add similar functionality from this mod to vanilla (rebalanced of course), then support this vote on the official website of paradoxes with a vote for.

Only bugs I've run into have been graphical errors, could it use an update? Sure, graphical bugs are still annoying when you notice them, but right now all the important parts still work just fine.

If the mod is not abandoned, then I have a suggestion.
1) Add technology to increase "hull points" to each defensive structure (except for "defense platforms" - it already has it in vanilla).
2) Also give the Ion Cannon this tech and decouple the fixed cost of 2000 Alloys and 1800 Build Days.

Version 2.8.1 - the mod works. But there are some small visual bugs in the new ship styles.

mod breaks space stations, for me it made all weapon slots x sized slots and in the early game that means the stations have 0 firepower for the longest time

It seems the stations from this mod can't use the reactor from Extra Ship Components 3.0 (or maybe other components too, I haven't check yet)
Will there be any plan of patch for it? ESC can surely make these stations even greater.
Btw, this is a great mod, it makes millitary stations can be useful in late game.

power needs to be rebalanced in these, the larger sections are impossible to power when filled with weapons, which limits you to a couple sections that are far weaker than is useful

For some reason, when I try to install defences that are from this mod, the game does the task normally, but when the defence is built, it disappears. Also, for the Citadel, it adds the power and then it disappears from the defences. To clarify, in both cases the slots are emptied, but in the Citadel one the power is added, like a permanent modifier. It's a bit weird, but it also means that I can stack up to crazy numbers, and after a certain amount of citadels (I think over 20?) the Starbase is deleted. Weird
