Will Machine ringworlds just have the +10% bonus in 2.2+ ? It would be good if they had a way to produce minerals too.

I'm working on Planetary Ringworlds at the moment, but as soon as I get that squared away I'll get to work on this! My plan is to add arcology and hive ringworlds, and generally get this working with 2.2.

In addition, after terraforming to a machine ringworld you cannot create the zone building from ringworlder, so i would recommend fully developing your ringworld before terraforming it.

I cna confirm that this mod is compatible with ringworlder insofar as you can terraform a normal ringowrld into a machine ringowrld and keep the "Ringworlds are Really BIG" modifier. Something to consider is that the ringworld will then become a habitat, so buildings such as planetary shield generators may no longer be buildable.

well i have a vew things, first the abandoned terraforming event arrives on maschine ring segments again since 2.1 and also the Horizon Signal Event Ending, when you spawn the waiting serpent, turn the Maschine ringworld segments into tomb worlds... and maybe it is better if you change the maschine ring segments from habitates into worlds like the vanilla (niven) are and also change the "terraforming" option into an "upgrade" one as if it is an extra "bonus" step at the end of the normal "ringworldconstruction"

How about a planet edict only open to machine empires that would add a modifier that gives the same bonuses and negititive habitabilty to make it uninhabitable for organics. Organics would then have the option of removing that modifer if they took over the habitat, and it'd cost the same as a terraforming project.

The big problem with machine habitats is that if I make a new one, I would have to edit every building in the game in order to make it work like a regular habitat. I think I know how I could work around it, but I'm currently pretty busy with schooling and don't have much time to work on it.

Interesting detail here, when a ringworld is turned into a machine ringworld, it gets marked as a habitat in the overview list. Any chance that could be changed?

It'll probably be fine. Steam has a size limit for images, so I upload them as jpegs to keep the file size down.

That's correct. You have to terraform it after construction.

I did use ISBS GP Patch, it still didn't work after reinstalling and making a new game. Still appeared a broken segment. I'm not using any other RW mods. other than ISBS mods.
