Running into issues where I can't extract genetic material from eldritch monsters. They try extracting, then stop and walk away. Error log has this (Screenshots)

Seems like a config issue in the patch itself? I'm not sure. Everything else (Genetics included) Is functioning fine!

* Items_Resource_HybridAnimalProducts_Other , and I uploaded the file to Dropbox if anyone else wants to apply this fix to their game (afaik, it's the same fix that Alpha Animals using to prevent Sky Steel from spawning in generated map structures).

I think I found a solution to Eldritch wood spawning as a ruins material. Setting the commonality for eldritch wood to 0 prevents it from spawning in as a ruins material, and probably also prevents raiders from using weapons made out of eldritch wood. The commonality stat is on line 33 of

It just adds a new wood, but there is nothing in th mod that could make it overwrite all other types of wood

Eldritch wood comes from this mod right? For whatever reason eldritch wood overwrites everything made of wood. Wooden weapons from raiders are always made of eldritch wood. Generated map structures are also only made from eldritch wood. The only normal wood I get is from trees. Is this a load order problem?

thanks, my colonists were breaking between my barn and prison, I thought it may be the cosmic horror hybrids, but it turned out it was from my prisoners who had psionic abilities from the psitech mod.

For anyone getting the red settings error, this is a harmless error, caused by the game not updating the settings file after a change in the code. Can be easily fixed by going to:

C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config

And deleting Mod_GeneticRim_GeneticRim_Mod.xml

Reworked and unified entire mod's code to bring it up to current standards
Added "cure old wounds" recipes when A Dog Said is installed
