Description
The GIF/Thumbnail effects are from Chewie's mod, Field Command: Sengoku only. Just to clarify, this mod does not utilize any FCS assets. The captivating beauty and overall appeal of the exceptional visual effects showcased in the FCS mod make it truly remarkable. It is undoubtedly worth sharing with everyone who appreciates such artistic brilliance. If you intend to use FCS alongside this mod, I highly recommend using this compatibility patch as it includes new units for Portugal and so much more: Lenny's FCS + EJ Portugal 12-TPY Compatch Alternatively, you can make use of the collection provided above.

Additional Information
- More Clans Playable (142 Playable Factions/Clans). There are 71 factions available within the Shogun 2 Campaign Menu and an additional 71 factions within the Rise of the Samurai Campaign Menu.
- 12 Turns Per Year.
- Functional Clan Traits.
- Naval Ships are sinkable.
- Starts in the winter season.
- Major clans have their own unique starting units.
- Galleon, Caravel, Merchant Caravel are not repairable in military port, drydock, undeveloped ports(e.g., coastal village, harbour) only repairable in trading port and all nanban ports.
- Look for update logs in the Change Notes tab.

Author's Note
- I would like to share with all those interested in the Expanded Japan mod by uanime5 and Sara Temer (with permission granted by uanime5) that I have made some personal modifications and edits to include a Portugal faction. These changes were made primarily for my own satisfaction, but if you find them appealing, I sincerely hope you enjoy them.
- The Portugal faction/clan relies on the Fall of the Samurai DLC, so if you do not have the required Fall of the Samurai files (such as data_fots.pack), you may experience crashes to desktop (CTD).
- If you are experiencing a crash-to-desktop (CTD) while using this mod, kindly refer to my roadmap link for further assistance: Potential Fixes [trello.com]

Compatibility
- This mod should work seamlessly with other mods that do not modify the scripting.lua and startpos.esf files. Examples of such mods include Last Alliance: TW by Sara Temer or Morning Sun.
- If you are using BullGod's Daimyo Reskins or any Daimyo Reskins, please be aware that there might be a visual bug in the campaign selection screen. However, the models themselves should function properly in-game.
- Currently, the mod only supports the local_en.pack file or the English language. If you are interested in translating the mod into your preferred language, you are welcome to do so.
- Works together with Radious or Darthmod make sure THIS MOD is on the top of Radious or Darthmod in the mod manager.
- To experience all content, it may be necessary to have all DLCs installed.

Multiplayer Campaign
- 142 clans can be played in all game modes [142 Playable Factions/Clans with victory conditions and clan traits (71 clans have a temporary clan traits called Aqua's Divine Insights)].
- Work in progress! ... (I'm delighted to inform you that the desync or crash issues have been successfully resolved, and everything is now functioning as expected. Thank you, extremt blek for your invaluable contribution in testing out our fixes before their release.)
- In order to participate in Multiplayer Battles or Co-Op Campaign, it is essential for all players to have the same version of the mod and ensure that it is running in the same correct order within the mod manager. If the mod's run order is accurate, but you continue to receive information about incompatible versions, it indicates that there may be an issue with your game. I recommend verifying the game files via Steam, as this may help resolve the problem or try this solution I've found: Potential Fix[trello.com]. Please note that if you are not using the official mod manager, I won't be able to assist you if any issues arise.

For some reason land battles keep crashing. I can't figure out why. Sea battles and the campaign are fine, but land battles crash as soon as I hit the load screen.

I would recommend making musketeers 150 range (similar to sharpshooters) and arquebusiers 125 range (similar to matchlock hero samurai, or line infantry), like in the original mod.

Portugese Arquebusier and Musketeers are way overtuned compared to the original Portugese mod. Them both having 200 range is just insane lol (especially the arquebusier, which is a matchlock unit). In fall of the samurai, set in the 1860's with modern rifles, sharphooter units only have 150 range, while regular line infantry has 125. I don't really understand why you decided to massively buff them in this mod, when they are already incredibly powerful in the original Portugal mod

Am I the only one having a hard time with bow men sounding like matchlocks ? Why is the sound effect so wrong and can we fix it ?... otherwise great mod.

葡萄牙的科技有问题,皇家狙击手放在弓术靶场解锁就不合理,火炮科技应该放在火器工厂解锁而不是弓术靶场,太混乱了。

so i CAN form oversea trade routes, no one wants to trade though; guessing thats a feature? makes sense if it is although its a little miserable because of that early economy
