Project Irisil


This mod adds the following new content to Starbound:

A new monster species, Irisil
Irisil can be found in the eyepatch biome on alien planets.

A new microdungeon, Irisil Den
These dens can also be found in the eyepatch biome on alien planets.

3 new fossils
Dig up the remains of irisil! Fascinating!

New cooking recipes
New treats! What could possibly go wrong?

New codex entries
The Irisil Field Guide has everything you need to know about these weird creatures.

New status effects
Irisil are able to defend themselves in a variety of ways. Be prepared!

New crafting materials
It's the eye in the preview image. The theme is eyes. Hopefully you can see that by now.

A new cosmetic back item
Adopt an interstellar furry friend! Or don't. Up to you, really.

New placeable decorations
Collect new trophies from your encounters!

New space stations
Interstellar trade now includes Exotic Animal Goods! It's totally legal if you do it in space.

A new critter
These can be found in irisil dens.

New star names
Added eye-themed star names.

New bounty targets
Irisil can commit crimes! The work of a Peacekeeper is never done.

New quests
Locals sometimes ask for help in dealing with new wildlife!

New anomalies
Visit new (rare) space dungeons!

New pet names
Added eye-themed pet names.

New lairs
Certain dungeons have a chance to spawn irisil lairs!

New weapons
New weapons can be found in (or near) irisil lairs!

New challenge rooms
You'll know if you find one.

A new merchant at the Outpost
Grab your Irisil merchandise here! (Requires Treasured Trophies)

New augments
Experience the thrill of space dandruff!

New insects
Capture them with your net!

New fish
They look weird, just like real fish!

New tech
Transform into irisil! Chew on wires!

So how do I get the tech? I went to Eliott but they haven't given me any quest related to the tech so I don't know if I'm missing anything or not.

If I did the former, wouldn't I have to repeat the process every time the mod updates? I'd be interested in the latter but the extent of my modding experience is following a tutorial to give plasmoids the avali alt ship, I have no idea how to patch something like this.

It is simple and easy for you to remove the loading screen irisa
The file you are looking for is /cinematics/splash.cinematic.patch

Simply remove this file from the unpacked mod and it will no longer display on your load screen

Alternatively, you can also apply a patch of your own to remove the panel from the load screen, you'd just need to op-test for the image in the panel data in your patch

I would like for there not to be a little guy on my loading screen. Unfortunately it doesn't seem there's a patch to remove that, or if there is I couldn't find it.:debug:

ATTN:
If you've manually spawned any of the unreleased Shizubelle trees, remove them from your worlds, because I've made changes to them which will brick planets that have the old versions

long story super short, the mod conflict was not with Enternia
it did get resolved though
