This collection holds a selection off minimalistic vessels that were designed with low material- and performance-costs in mind. All blueprints in this selection are intended to be used on vanilla-servers and multiplayer-games with strict PCU-limits.



All items are designed for survival-gameplay and have been constructed and tested on a vanilla-survival-server before hitting the workshop. The V.M.E-BASIC series uses neither DLCs nor mods, minimalizes PCU-costs and doesn't have any subgrids, so they can be build straight from a projector.

Furthermore these vessels don't come with pre-installed scripts and can be used without modifications on servers or savegames with 'experimental mode' disabled. All items are also fully conveyered and 'thruster damage'-compatiple.


Even though we have been through two expansions and various bugfixes since Space Engineers left Early Access, the game in general and Multiplayer in particular are still far away from working flawlessly. And since the Economy Update brought multiple additional grids into our worlds, PCU-limits on many servers, including the official ones, became quite strict.

In result it can be very frustrating to manage costs of your personal ship, base and multiple industrials. The V.M.E-BASIC series aims to set you up with everything you need to keep your homebase running and still looking good while not wasting PCU.

To archive this goal, vessels of this line are built around a connected frame that allows you to further cut down all armor, lights, lcds and other decorative elements without loosing any of the core-functions. Vice versa, all items offer enough room to modify and extend them to your liking.
