Description
The SMIDR S Construction ship is the next step of the Smiðr-class lineup. Giving the operator an additional welder results also in more cargo space equal to an extra medium cargo container. Like its smaller variant, the SMIDR S is entirely battery-powered.

V.M.E BASIC vessels are cheap, performance friendly ships, that were created for multiplayer-games with strict PCU-limits. They are fast and easy to build, full vanilla and don't require any DLCs, mods, scripts or subgrids.

The S.IS-BSC-07 provides a cockpit with an isolated environment, connected to an air-vent to harvest oxygen. The ship is designed to operate in space outside natural gravity wells.

Key features
  • Small profile
Less than one large grid block in high and two in width allow the SMIDR to work in tight places and to be stored in even the smallest hangers.
  • Basic protection
strategically placed light armor blocks can prevent damage from the thrusters, should you manage to accidently hit the SMIDR somewhere.
  • Lots of space
A medium cargo container and two welders offer enough capacities to put together many small grid ships in a single run. Additionally you can store even more items like tools and bottles in the cockpit.
  • Battery powered
This vessel is electricial-powered and does not require any fuel or uranium to function. Attach it to your homebase or mothership via connector and use hotkey 6 on Toolbar 1 to recharge you battery.

Good welder but add your own Gyroscopes. No, there is no gyroscope behind the cockpit (Dec 2023 with all current DLC)

@ZurGaa: Not really. It comes with the bare minumum in terms of thrusters and is supposed to be operated outside gravity-wells. Recommend going for the Eitri-series if you need a Welder in moon gravity.

Does it work on the moon?

@MysticalMeowMeowCat: Of course it has a gyroscope. It's right behind the cockpit. Always check your projector if the build is complete before disconnecting it.

it cant turn because it has no gyroscope
