Look to give you a summary, is this game fun? Yes, is it worth 25 bucks? I'd say so.
It's not hard, it's the kind of mindless fun you can relax with without it being easy either. So many weapons to enjoy, all of them equally usable though some more utility than others.

My favorite thing this game does is how it handles your upgrade tree, you pull out a little gameboy advanced SP and play various game cartridges to unlock said skills with cash you earn from playing. Stuff like Mario and Pokemon style games.

Heck, there even is a weapon that basically is a pokeball but if a cube. I love that weapon especially.

Although I should note that the game DOES have head shots as a mechanic in it, but I am unable to tell if it applies to everything or just the humanoid enemies.

I should note though, my biggest negative is that it feels like the other gameboy mini game skill trees are not worth nearly as much as the default one, like, they use their own unique currencies but they are too minor and inconvenient enough for me to not find them worth the effort. +1hp or +1 bullets type stuff.

The weapons are golden though, it's partially random but the buffs they can all have is vastly different and make them all amazingly unique. Some break the game of course, and you have to unlock the ability to carry higher level ones.

Screw the dragon enemies that spit out eggs though, they got a ridiculous amount of HP for some reason. Like they're designed to be a priority target for you, but because of that large health pool you might get yourself killed trying to just target it.

It's a great game but man, does it get rather annoying fast, especially when timed and that's not even including the challenges.

This game is pretty great, and actually has a development squad behind it that actually want to get it done. A lot has changed in the game over the last 2 years, your end goal is to make villages automated so they can be self sufficient while doing various quests in the world. Unlike Terraria people actually fight in this game, to a decent capacity at least.

My only big complaint is the inconsistency of boss fights, they have the 'go through them in a certain order' implication, the first one is easy and an item it drops gives you the ability to beat the second one with relative ease as long as you make a large enough room so it can't hide in walls and crap, the third one is sort of where it starts getting ugly.

The big issue in the later bosses is that you can't see them, but they can see you, and they can hit you from farther away than you can hit them, the third bosses room being filled to the brim with candelabra's means that you can't really encroach with only ranged, not consistently at least due to the fact the ranged attacks can be blocked by candelabra's like they are walls.

The game is great, building is fun, combat isn't bad, trying to make a village be consistently tops is nice, it is also a tad easy though. Just fill a decent sized room with random furniture and have gourmet food be automatically made and that's enough to push most settlers to 100% The mining aspect of the game also is a tad finnicky, you can mine stuff and go up tear by tear the normal way. Or you can just use dynamite, the better approach to thorough mining. Though be careful as you rarely get breathing room in the mines at all.

I'd say it's worth the price, it is the simple type of addiction that you can turn your brain off and get into or go full bore hog wild and see how strong you can get.

Secondary Sniper rifle that is bolt action but not slow as ♥♥♥♥? Pretty good.

LMG has god awful stability but is manageable, has decent ammo capacity damage and reload speed when compared to the other ones.

Grenade launchers funky with the ability to fire 3 grenades at a time, with the third being a poisonous smog, can be set to 2 if you put on the venomous exclusive set.

The poison grenades are great to me conceptually, but they do no damage. They can stun some enemies and last a long time, more than you expect, but it still doesn't feel like enough. If you have a build that gets you grenades very often it hurts, but aside from that I don't know if this is worth it on any difficulty above Overkill.

Heist is good, will crash if you use Wolfhud, so just use VanillaHud+ to get around that, aside from that? Haven't experienced any other bugs or complaints people have filed, I do dislike the boss somewhat because it seems to implore amount of bullets in clip compared to amount of damage you can do but that's just a general personal grievance of mine. One thing I do majorly dislike is the fact you can't seem to grab the artifacts in Loud at least? I haven't tried in stealth because, I don't play payday 2 to lose hours on retries, so maybe it's just that.

Anyone thinking of buying this for the multiplayer needs to take a few things into account.
The multiplayer servers for one, are all the same. Set to apocalyptic settings and making zombies buffed to ♥♥♥♥, so if you're new no point then, seems like all the servers exist for the tryhard instead of have fun types. Also overbloated with workshop mods that seem to have a 50/50 chance of auto downloading or forcing you to go download them manually, and even after that another 50/50 on the server being up to date or not.

Games a little too tedious to really be fun as a whole yet, you're gonna have no vanilla experience but all the tedium from it still with the mods outweighing it all and xp modifiers out the ass.

Also, remember these words, quit if you're bit. There's no point in dragging out the inevitable unless the server has infection rate disabled, you have a higher chance of being bitten if attacked from behind as far as I can gather.

And don't go thinking you can find anyone in the discord either, hosting is a bit of a nightmare because it requires the ever-dreaded overly-complex port forward. The discord also isn't the best, featuring staff members having PUBLIC breakdowns due to being called out on their screw ups. It's kind of pathetic actually, the discord is also for some reason primarily full of kids or those apocalyptic whackjobs.

Update: I've added more hours to my gameplay recently, and I can confirm: the new update really funked over some aspects of the game, such as foraging, which now takes hours to find what you want if unlucky. The movement also is screwed up, changed to be more realistic of course you and others can now trip each other by running into one another, or just naturally trip when running, like someone on the dev team played smash bros brawl and thought it was a BRILLIANT idea. So whether PVP is ON or OFF is redundant, because you can just run into someone running from zombies, and get them killed.

Most servers that pop up in the browser at first are for some reason russian? That tends to show more results after a minute though.

Basically B41 has made the game and the multiplayer reach the point where everything is a tedious annoying task that requires 200 mods to fix. That isn't fun, at all. Especially when half the time you have to manually install the mods, but at least you have a list to cross reference now.

If realism is what you want, sorry to tell ya, multiplayer here is not where you'll ever get it... Ever.

Genuinely the biggest counter argument to buying this game I've seen is the fact that it used to be a phone game, and that's not saying a lot. Many great games start from one point and go to another. This game is great, the artwork in it is pretty good, each NPC you fight has unique art, it's simple, and fun.

And people saying that only rares are worth catching, Commons/uncommons are fine, they're viable backup if you've dropped the ball somewhere in training.

The game actually makes items worth a damn.

It's a fun game, my only complaint is sometimes a battle does dwindle down to you just undoing binds/paralysis/sleeps with items and then getting 1 turn to hit in.

Staff never stay in their rooms,
Patients flood in by the trillions no matter how high I raise the price.
Reputation bar does nothing.
Have optional fursuits with sonic characters.
Doctors keep abandoning their posts.
It's a good game, but a headache.

This is a fine game, I got it on sale a few months back. Monster Sanctuary mixes the game between a castlevania esque exploration as well as the monster taming genre.

Fights take place in 3v3s, where you can have 6 in your team and switch one for another as needed, boss fights being against super pumped enemies called champions.

It sounds unique, the monster designs range from meh to good, but there is a giant problem, it's easily broken like a Fabergé femur in an elderly person.

This game has pokemon style elements, but it's more like SMT in what it goes for, each Monster can equip a weapon and 3 accessories that are upgrade-able as long as you got the right materials. So of course I did the obvious thing, slapped a ton of crit chance stuff on my Meowzerker and made it have a 60% chance to crit right out of the gate, an early game monster. And immediately it started to tear through the difficulty. Aside from that you have debuffs/buffs that can be stacked like no ones business, it's like south park the stick of truth, just apply a truckload of burn, poison, electrical, stack it up a bit and suddenly your enemies a crippled weeping puddle of nothing on the floor. And that's BEFORE elemental weaknesses are taken into account.

That'd all be fine and fun, but the biggest problem is the castlevania half of the coin, these 2 genres don't mix well, they tried their best to make it work here and succeeded a good bit but, it's just exhausting. Each monster can do a unique action and you can carry a lot in your inventory, problem is that's a lie. You have the inventory space of a truck, but a lot of these monsters have the same move Balan Wonderland style.

There comes a point where you just want to shout at the game to make up it's mind on which gameplay style it wants, because the platforming with monsters whose abilities are increasingly worthless because of upgrades you get throughout the game, excluding very rare few and far between bits that require every tool you got to get through. And that's around the point you're tired of it all, if you're like me you see the 're-fight Champion monsters room' and immediately begin grinding that until you unlock Boss companion like goons for backup, only for it to turn out that they kind of suck when they're on your side. Nothing unusual I guess when it comes to video game bosses.

I won't even begin on the rating system/combo system, that just is a headache.

Again, it's a fine game, it just bores me fast and makes me want to boot up anything ELSE in one of the two genre camps it's filling in.
