Everything in this game is better than the last 5 Bethesda E3 press conferences.

Fine game, just not too... captivating, good idea, great system for base building, plenty of potential, 4 guns at most it felt like and the damage bonuses were minimal with everything and your powers don't make much difference aside from Cleo's 1 second stun.

Will change review if it gets updated to fix these in the future but it's just not too captivating.

Great game, had a ton of fun, was really really enjoyable, I loved the first games, loved the 2nd game/2nd part of the 1st game???? Had a lot of fun with this too.

Then I got to the last levels of the game, and holy, crap, it never, ends. It just, you get to a point where you're just waiting to get to the end, and it just, never happens. NEVER. The first game setup enemies like they were you know, thought out when placed, this one felt like it just threw all 500 at you from the get go infinitely.

Top that all off, final boss on Sirius was glitchy AF for some reason, if I tried to do anything it would lock up the game and I'd have to new desktop task manager close it.

This is a great game, but for the love of god, just play it in multiplayer, it's easy to host and your homies can help. The only thing is that in multiplayer you don't get cutscenes, and I advise turning on the life system in co-op/multiplayer just to make it a bit more fair.

Again, just get it on sale if you really must have it.

This is a game that is refreshingly nice to me, one with a nice story, simple yet still has good twists, characters that are all pretty unique and all have a decent bit of depth, as well as parts of them you can entirely miss if you don't do the correct step, or simply don't read, but it's not so random that you'll never know what to do, as long as you pay attention you'll be able to tell what to do when. Even when a certain 'cryptic' individual shows up.

The world setting is nice, futuristic, feels pretty unique even if one part of it is just an excuse for cat girls to exist. Yet the humor is still there and it stands out as pretty nice, there are even a good few easter eggs secrets and references. Even if I dislike the reference to YIIK immensely.

There's no fake choice narrative either, I get exhausted fast of games trying to implore to me that 'choices can change a lot' when I rarely ever see them do it, or at least do it well. This is a game you can relax, read, enjoy, and simply, mix drinks and change lives.

They even remade the prologue as a free bonus, to play it you just go to the blue + on the top left of the screen. Sukeban did wonderfully for this I feel, and I look forward to playing Nirvana/the sequel when it releases.

Some reviews claim this game isn't worth the price, and I can't judge that, because it goes on sale so often that judging the 15$ as its full price is a bit of a misnomer to do.

The TL;DR version of this is, just relax, make some drinks, have a nice time with the clientele at the bar, laugh, and enjoy a good story.

It's the same feeling one gets when home alone on a rainy day, just relaxing and reading with the world feeling like it's stopped for that brief moment of peace, a cozy feeling I rarely can get these days from games and am more than happy to have had with VA-11 Hall-A.

A wise man once said, there is no such thing as too many heists.

They're not wrong.

And this is fine. Not the best, it's not bad, it does feel like a lot of these maps could benefit from a bit more optimization than the devs are willing to put in anymore, but it's still a fine heist.

Not gonna lie, I initially was going to laugh this pack off, but upon actually implementing it on my inevitable 100% completionist quest in payday 2, it's actually one of the best skin packs in existence arguably. With the new weapon colors you can make all your guns look pretty, amazing, or interesting.

To describe how creative this game is: There's a sniper rifle that does more damage if you do a 360 before shooting. Is that not enough of a reason to buy it?
