It's a good game, short, goes on sale often for 5 bucks which, I don't think either price is really bad. The game has some replay value, a fun third person shooter with jet leg mechanics and bulletime stuff. Plot isn't much, predictable pretty well too but I imagine you aren't playing a shooter with the hopes of a world breaking plot.

My only complaint about it really? I've never had a game punish me so damn hard before just for daring to punch something with anything other than a disk launcher. Basically if you melee an enemy with a basic attack you lose all your energy, which means you now die in a couple of shots instead of having a safety net shield. Sure if you rocket dive kick slowmo bullet time shoot the enemies around you down in one go that's fine, but odds are there'll be way too many for you to execute that kind of stuff.

This is a good game. I love ones about terraforming. That being said, this one isn't exactly a base management one, no this is a puzzle game, except you get randomly generated jigsaw boards and are randomly given the tools you need to clear it.

I for the life of me could not keep people happy either, despite anything I did the puzzle only got harder and harder, but the puzzles felt more like a middle finger. Sure you can buy toolsets you specifically want, but sometimes there are terrain demands or configurations that make the ones you can afford nigh unusable, but again, it's random.

"You don't have enough workers to operate these buildings!" So you call in more workers, which means more food, so you make more green houses for more food and then the cycle repeats because they begin to spread thin and hard real fast. Running things at 50% did not help much. Not to mention how you never have enough water pumps.

Being real the 7 main story missions are good, the plots nice, I wanted more of it. But the sandbox/freeplay mode, I don't really see a point in playing personally speaking. The terraforming aspect is interesting, the game is great for its price. I just can't help but to feel like we're short in some aspects or other things could've used a tad more refining.

This game, man this is heartbreaking. I followed it so long and it just, it's okay. That's the thing, most of the abilities, most of the stats, most of what you do is meaningless and there is not much content. The difficulty and combinations of enemies is a little ridiculous as well. I got decently far, I just don't see how many can reach the end.

Dungeon munchies, it was a really fun game for me. Though it is something that the best way you can describe it is "It's an indie game." Some dishes are just outright superior to others, so are some weapons, and then upgrades get involved and sometimes enemies get irritating.

But it wasn't bad. I really loved the characters, especially the three waifus. My only real complaints are that at points the plot felt a little repetitively preachy in the message that it was trying to get across, there was also the issue that is the finnickiness of your summoned companions. I had a ton towards the end and they seemed pretty reluctant to attack if they were range based like the drones, so I had to basically get in the face of the enemy. But overall I had a fun time. It isn't long, the plot isn't the most complex, and I imagine new game+ is just a fun romp with all your OP gear.

It is so weird how the core gameplay loop is great, but the worst aspect about this game is literally the bosses. They all are incredibly tedious. You think the materials in the area that boss resides in would be enough to beat it, no, you want the next areas materials instead which will most likely get you murdered in the process. The Hive Mother practically screams multiplayer for a boss fight too.

I want to say that my experience with SoW was mostly positive, but with some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ here and there that really got on my nerves towards the tail end of things.

This game is impressive to me, the developer make good use of RPGmaker in a lot of aspects. And not well enough in others, but I'd still say it's overall a great effort.

There's fun to be had in creating armies, forming squads, and upgrading units into whatever you want them to be to make a balanced squad or make someone dedicated to one role. The old fire emblem weapon system of stuff breaking isn't here, thank christ. Instead we have sort of an armor/weaponry circle? It's a little hard to explain but it's easy to understand the offense and defense benefits.

My biggest complaints though is that, for most of my playthrough, I was only really motivated enough to form 3-4 independent squads that did not come from a plot relevant character. Most of the time those important characters already come with their own armies, and even if you make a ton of troops you probably won't get far without the benefits from one of the default leaders, whether you buy stronger ones at a marketplace or not being irrelevant. And it's only really in the last couple of chapters that you get to deploy upward of 20 squads, though for me I was rolling with 17 at the end of my first playthrough.

Guns are annoying. I was fascinated with them at first, but then I realized they were cheap shots to destroy everything with only one unit being able to really survive a full volley, and that's the sentinel. Of course this is before they start throwing rows of 4-6 gunmen at you, and if it's the enemy that goes first then you may as well mark that squad off as KIA for all it's worth because the enemy guns tend to have 2 shots whereas yours only get 1 until a late end game tech tree becomes available.

There are several priority targets and strategic approaches you can take when attacking. For me though I wish I could've had an order that said "Ignore the healers you minges." because seeing 5-7 people dogpile one healer in the center and wasting their turn instead of the row of magic tossers in the back is very VERY aggravating.

I also advice against playing with permadeath mode on. Cause it felt more arduous than it was worth. The plot wasn't really incredibly deep, and the characters are pretty one note. Honestly though, sometimes a straight forward nice time is a good thing instead of a ton of complex twists and turns that make you go "Oh sh!t" every 5 seconds. The game also does great at one point when your resources feel like they're dwindling, I won't go into detail but it matches up with how the plot was up and til that moment and it felt great to build it back up.

It's a good game for the most part with some pretty big red flags, but overall as something to lay back and relax with the challenge felt pretty fair, especially if you try to S rank chapters, though I do not recall any option to replay previous chapters unless you got a save for then, but if you're like me you save before each chapter anyway.

I look forward to whatever this team does next and probably will be investigating their previous products as well.

Yeah it's a pretty good Point and Click with a pretty good set of characters, and a nice plot twist.

If I had to complain? I really dislike certain characters being mandatory no matter what. I understand it early but after that? Just kind of feels needlessly obligatory.

It's hardcore survival for the wrong reasons, good world building, too tedious to be fun long term unless you have a miniature army of a posse to play with.

This game is incredibly meaty, if you've been craving that paper mario itch for a while, this game certainly will satisfy said itch. It's got a lot of side quest content to it, including a card minigame of all things to make use of the spying data you get from gathering info off enemies.

It also is probably the most stable unity engine game I've ever played, which is saying a lot. You can even maneuver around a bit in some sections with some funky movement with your abilities which I found really nice. The games plot is rather straight forward yet has a bunch of side detours available to it to add way more meat along the way to both your party and the world around you.
