Keeps crashing during pretty much any mission (the first two story missions and a few liberation missions).
It loads pretty quickly and the gameplay is fun, but having to start the game over and over again - every ten minutes or so - gets annoying really quickly.

Buy if you're interested, but keep an eye on your gameplay time in the first 2 hours so you can refund in time, should the game crash too much.

Stunning scenery with a surplus of gore and viscera on a devastated scifi Earth. Slay demons with a humble yet versatile collection of upgradeable weapons. The expanded amount of glory kills provides candy for your eyes to feast upon, as well as giving you some much needed health. Chainsaw kills provide an ammo refill, while the flamethrower provides burning enemies which drop armor pickups on taking damage.

The sound is good, but the soundtrack is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ glorious. I can't imagine a more fitting tune to set the mood while you rip and tear through everything that crosses your path.

Loading times are short. Framerates are high. Cutscenes are mostly skippable and can even be paused. The extensive options menu allows pretty much any graphical setting to be altered, as well as providing a range of accessability options.

Replay value is added through the ability to select individual levels - which also allows you to go back and find that last secret you missed or simply to play them on a harder difficulty. Additionally, this can also provide you with additional unlocks for your guns and skills which will be highly appreciated later on.

If you do struggle, don't be ashamed to lower the difficulty. There are no difficulty-related achievements, so there's no reason to play on a difficulty level which only ends up getting you frustrated. As you get used to the mechanics, enemies and maps, you can always raise the difficulty should the game no longer provide a challenging experience.

As of yet, I have encountered no bugs, crashes or other issues apart from a few minutes of connection issues after booting the game for the first time. I assume this was simply the result of playing on launch day, as the issue hasn't occurred again.

Can't go wrong with this one.

Only complaint is that multiplayer requires a game restart.

If you haven't played Half-Life 2, then you can either play this one or the original - this mod could simply be considered the most up-to-date version.

If you've played Half-Life 2 before, then 'doing a 100% run' is a decent excuse to play through Half-Life 2 yet another time.

If you have previously played GemCraft and enjoyed it, then you will probably like this one as well.

If you like challenging TD, but haven't played GemCraft yet, then you can try out an earlier release in the series on Kongregate, newgrounds, etc. so you see if you like it.

Just don't go in expecting to finish every map on the first try or you'll become very dissapointed!

It's way better than it should be! It's just the right length, too. I finished it in little over 16 hours, but it was a worthy 16 hours.
You should buy it in a sale. It's worth playing, but maybe doesn't completely justify the price tag. Don't set the bar too high and you'll discover a good game.

Commander Baron and Jennifer will both back me up on that statement.
They ensured me that I am a very trustworthy guy ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

F2P game which doesn't force you into buying microtransactions? Can't really not recommend that, can I?

It's one of those super simple games which manage to turn a handful of game mechanics into a really enjoyable game.

There is also a mobile version of this game for on the road. Unfortunately, progress does not carry over between both as the mobile game isn't a steam app.

Also: It has night mode. Turn on night mode!
