Cheap and fun. Nice levelbuidling. Even the music sometimes make you jump when not intended ;)
Every level has it's own musical track, btw.

Many levels, an editor, "instant restart" when dead so you don't get bored.


PS: Don't make an account though. There's a bug that, when entering your data and username is already taken, you wil get "invalid e-mail" untill you make a new e-mail adress. Wait untill they fix ;)

I find it difficult to recommend this game, even though I will give it a positive review.
I'll start with some cons:
- Many matches fail to start due to long known problem which should not be too hard to fix.
- liking/disliking certain arenas seems to have very little effect on the amount of times you join them. I play the hexagon based 'halo' map daily, even though I have disliked it in every way possible.
- Sometimes problems like rubberbanding occur even though ping is under 20.
- A controller is highly recommended, it's basically the only game in which I use one and I bought one just for this game. Keyboard use is possible but the amount of controle is slightly less and can sometimes be a handicap.
- Console owners seem to have loading times which are MUCH longer than pc players.
- Some players are toxic as ♥♥♥♥. Most of these guys are also the ones you'll see making owngoals, giving passes to the other team and *YELLING* in the chat about how they aren't carried. There's always one.
- Trading; every guide nowadays is a trading guide, buy keys to unlock rare skins etc. Some people only seem to play for the trading aspect.
- If you play at the right time, you'll experience some server probs daily. Also the occasional bug in setting up a party or leaving one (like when one guy joins a game and the other is still on the main menu, resulting in a match which fails to start and time lost. Since this happens regularly it's quite a problem)

The pro's:
- Easy to learn, hard to master. Even after 400 hours I still notice myself making progress and getting better at certain things, like arials and saving hard to save goals.
- The game is so much fun! I am still enjoying it every time I play.
- When there are no toxic players, the community is really chill and laid back. There's the occasional flame war, but this adds even more to the enjoyability of the game.
- Updates and DLC often, most of the time the most important aspects are free and the extra's(like car models). Some bugs are still present years after release though.
- It's pretty.
- Physics are a thing.

It's fun even though it still needs a lot of work:
- Spawn next to enemies.
- Some maps need to be revised(can shoot from spawn to spawn).
- Jumping is sketchy sometimes, especially on steep surfaces.
- Sometimes enemies aren't visible even though they are not obscured by terrain.

I'm certain the devs will fix such things, though. Give it a try, it's free.

I feel like the gameplay is too slow and even though it might have more depth later on, it feels very slow-paced to me.

I'm glad to have bought this as part of a pack, so it's no big problem. It's going in the bin though...

Cover shooter. Strange feeling for movement and controls. Feels like a cover shooter from at least a decade ago. Personal advise is to skip this title.

Very nice mix of different genres.

It's fun but replayability is a lot lower than previous games and some suests tend to become tedious really fast.

This needs a sequel

I like it. I've got a lot more hours in this game but only bought it on steam when it was in a sale. Very addictive and a good way to lose a few hours of your life :p

Humor is top, gameplay is nice, mechanics are enjoyable.
It even look better than a lot of 2005+ releases :p
