With the right script, you can make it this fire only 6 shots, because we all know that's more then enough to take out anything that moves.

I would say "fix the amount of bullets the chamber can hold" but valve would probably do the same and call it a feature, an 8 round revolver.

I'm a monumental fan about the look and percision detail of this model weapon. I agree that this will go great for anyone wanting a quite fancy and cowboy-ish revolver.

sorry for this extra question.. i used photoshop but at the moment to save the file the texture the program asked me if i wanna save the file in 16, 24 or 32 bit/pixel what would be the best option?

@ N.shi: You could try using Half Life Model Viewer (or HLMV for short). Or another alternative would be importing model to blender and view the new textures there.

@ N.shi: You need texture images in vtf format and .vmt text file that has texture and material info. Those need to be placed in correct place in materials folder depending on model's set material path.

That Zoey looks sweet! Also, I think if I can hex the chrome shotgun version to the SPAS-12 slot, I'll get a pocket shotgun/revolver that actually makes a firing sound.

Are you thinking of making a double-action revolver for an auto-shotgun? Like the Nagant - or even better - a SILENCED Nagant!

@ N.shi: Models are compiled to usable format with text files that end with .qc instead of.txt. If you were to decompile mdl file (the model that the game engine has), it will give atleast smd (model that you can edit), qc (text file used to compile the mdl from smd) and animation folder (that has atleast idle animation in smd format)

@ N.shi: It's not something you'll pick up in a day, but not that difficult either.

For 1st person arms. follow the tutorial, but instead of Nick's arms use the arms model you were planning to fix (NOTE: use default skeleton. The model you were fixing probably uses it already). When it's rigged weight painted, export the smd and compile it with the qc you got while decompiling.

@ N.shi: If you were planning to re-rig it, any 3d modeling program that can import/export smd should do. Blender is free program.
