Has this mod been taken down or require the installation of another mod? I used the workshop to initially download this and when it didn't show up I tried following the link to the google drive and it says the page no longer exists.

I would agree with isaac632 and Triarus 1. Having a Unique Improvement along the lines of a forest of impaled bodies would fit very well for this Civ, as Vlad was famous for causing a Ottoman force to turn back by lining the road to the city the Ottomans intended to capture with the impaled bodies of 20,000 Ottomans. However, it should be able to be built outside of (If your playing as them) Wallachia's borders, since it would jack up your enemy's troop movements and armies.

Triarus1 below had a marvelous suggestion to fix the problem of having to work much too hard for the Unique Ability to be utilized. A Unique Improvement, an "Impaled Forest" or something, would do wonders for the civ. It'll weaken nearby enemy units and it should provide the Unique Ability bonus for its tile, so as to more easily utilize this civ's UA.

The unique unit is too weak. It needs to be faster and have protection/combat bonuses against enemy cities, so that it's a more effective raider and city-taker. If not that, a bonus to weaken enemy units will help extend the theme of Wallachia.

The Unique Building is excellent. It fits the theme of Wallachia nicely. The only thing that I would alter about the unique building is for it to give a promotion to all military units built in the same city, which could be the ones I mentioned above that allows the military units to weaken nearby enemies wherever they go.

It has served me well to stay clear of Civ mods that have brief mentions of bugs in the Comments sections. They will likely break your game (learned the hard way). But it's only fair to turn it around: I've played with this mod forever and with all kinds of set-ups (Community Balance Patch, etc). Never had a problem. Recommend.

u should add an "impaled forest" as improvement, where all the enemy units that pass lose 25% of their strength due to fear and desertion (and disease) and if your troops pass through it they lose 10% of their forces beacuse of the disease carried by the corpses. Improvement can be built by any solider on pillaged tile.

To the people "debating" about wether Vlad II Tepes did or didn't fight THE sultan.

As a historian, he did fight the sultan in combat. He and sultan fought in an ambush that Vlad had laid for the sultan, in an attempt to kill him and win the war via terror over the loss of the leader, although it ended inconclusively, the Wallachians DID technicly achieve one of their goals which was to halt or end the Ottoman invasion of their nation.

VLAD TEPES didnt defeated the conqueror sultan mehmed im sure abot this there was no combat and walllachians and moldavians just knee on like other nations

Turks should remember that he only christian nation that defeated a sultan on battlefield are romanians. And remember that only luck made tht Mehmed II escped alive from battle with Vlad. And remember that only luck made, 200 years later, that Michael the Brave not to conquer Constantinopole. And remember that Otoman Empire lost more than double number of soldiers, during history, in battle with moldo-wallachians than in battle with all other christian nations, cumulated. So, my dear JerkTurk, study a bit history....

I would like to point out that "Tepes" was the title given to him by his enemies, he actually was Vlad Dracul. Cool mod though, will definitely try it out

Hello JFD, My name is Thor but I go by Red on steam, anyway I'm building a huge scenario aimed at the pre Columbus exploration of the New World, at the moment I'm rebuilding the tech tree and adding twenty something new techs from ancient to renaisance so there will be 65 techs for the scenario and that it will not advance past the renaisance era, I have 2 new resources and twenty something civs. I'm planing on making the mod like Ryse and Fall of Civilizations from Beyond the Sword with tsl and true starting years, for those who like fireaxis's Civilizations. Also like Ryse's mod players who like historical accuracy where ever they settle the City will automatically be named with proper city name. Hey JFD!

I'm making a civ of my own, and I was wondering if you could help me with something (don't worry, I got the code and the graphics figured out). I'd like my UU to have a custom 3d model, and l would like to know if you or someone you know could help. lm not asking for you to make a custom model (unless you want to for some reason). l already have a model mesh and textures (which l extracted from the game STALKER SoC), but l don't know how to pack them together into Civ 5. l have tried using the Nexus, but it's so broken that everytime l tried to use it it glitched my whole SDK and l had to reinstall it.

Could you help me out?

You're pumping these out so fast it's scary. Either you timed them out to release them all around the same time, you just got a lot of free time on your hands, or.... you're hurrying to finish your work and move on to Civ VI. I hope it's not the latter, I look forward to your big overhauls being fleshed out, what we have now makes the game so much better.
