Hey, I'm creating a massive human portrait rework, got few major mods with new portraits from different creators + my own stuff. Total of 520 faces, but no clothing yet and was wondering if I could include your mod? Will of course credit and link original content :)
Cowboy_Sloth 11 May, 2024 @ 2:50pm
democratic rulers always switch ti imperial uniform after new election?
Svijj 6 Jun, 2023 @ 5:15am
The mod still works as of 3.8, but of course only with the old human portraits. These are very well done btw, good job!
Cowboy_Sloth 31 Jan, 2023 @ 5:39pm
an update would be neat
Egobyte83 30 Nov, 2022 @ 5:17am
Yeah, this needs to be updated, doesn't work anymore.
Bizarro 8 Aug, 2022 @ 12:30pm
Can't seem to find the new outfits... Prolly needs an update.
Thib 27 Jul, 2022 @ 5:56am
No longer works for me :(
Roboute Guilliman 12 May, 2022 @ 10:21am
Is there any chance you will update this mod to be a seperate race from the Human replacements? I like the new models and all but hate the base uniform we are now stuck with.
Wick  [author] 17 Dec, 2021 @ 3:59am
Guys, this mod was created for Stellaris shortly after release. The game itself was quite non-comparable to nowdays Stellaris. Back then, the game had more focus on showing individual pops. Game's mechanics got altered quite a bit and I'm not that much into it atm. I will try to fix some problems you encountered in the next few months. Nonetheless: The Mod should still work with newest game version.

Regarding variety: I will try to change generals uniforms to a more distinct look. Probably olive green or somewhat khaki/tan. It used to be red but it looked too awkward and clowny. Maybe even grey might look good.
sleeper 5 Dec, 2021 @ 11:52pm
Bit lacking in variety when half of the uniforms are just reskinned admiral uniforms.
Pamparampampamparam 16 Nov, 2021 @ 4:33am
Think the general's uniform should be red or green to make it different from the admiral skin.

Also, basic workers and administrators all wear military uniforms. I think admins should wear the suit and tie while basic workers wear vanilla clothing.
Legate Nullus 27 Oct, 2021 @ 1:56am
I also miss the hats from older versions.
kolokommouna 12 Jul, 2021 @ 11:02am
hats?
dreamer 8 Jul, 2021 @ 1:09pm
Thanks, Wick!
Wick  [author] 8 Jul, 2021 @ 3:19am
Updated Mod. Don't think it should interfere with new DLC. Should work properly. At least for me it did.
PAL 7 Jul, 2021 @ 3:12pm
Crap I was going to friend you on Steam to buy you the DLCs but then realized you were in germany and that's a massive suckage for a charitable soul like me...

Hello,

Encouraged by the description, I was wondering if you would mind me using your 'Wick's: Humans Lite' mod for mine .

It is a near-future scenario mainly focusing on Earth. I agree that (most) standard human clothes are ugly, but in my setting they are outright &@**# ridiculous. Your governor's suits are the best I found in any mods, and they especially would be wonderful additions to something set not around 2200 but around the next turn of he century.

Needless to say, credit would go to you and your mod would be linked.

Please let me know.
Wick  [author] 5 Mar, 2021 @ 6:31am
I'll try update it within the next week. I don't have the new DLCs, so I can't guarantee to have it work properly.
Mr. G 30 Dec, 2020 @ 8:51pm
update?
Wick  [author] 10 Apr, 2020 @ 12:55pm
I don't have the original files anymore. Thats one reason why I changed the design :). If somebody still has the originals, feel free to upload it with credit.

I dont know why worker pops wear them. Might be caused by Federations DLC. Dont own that one.
Aleksei 10 Apr, 2020 @ 12:43pm
Any possiblity for upload of old style? I personally really liked red and white uniforms. It gave more "imperial" feeling. Also for some reason currently all worker pops are wearing admiral uniforms.
Richard1757 24 Feb, 2020 @ 7:26am
I have no experience making a mod but with your permission I will attempt to preserve the old design as I do think it looked pretty good and don't want to stop you from changing your designs if you think it could be better
Wick  [author] 24 Feb, 2020 @ 7:09am
Remastered Humans is using other skin templates. I had to alter the original human skins to fit to clothing. If you want to make it compatible, you might want to edit the files yourself. You just need to copy data you want from Remastered Humans in this mod's folder and take a look at my alterations, or vice versa. It's actually not a big deal but you have to save it with another name, otherwise it gets overridden each time an update occurs.

The other version is a larger project which is currently not on my direkt schedule, because of the new Stellaris updates and upcomming DLC. I have to wait for them because of possible new files I have to edit in order to make it work properly.

I disliked my old one. That's why I changed design. If you want to keep the old one, you might want to download the "other version" and copy the files like described on top. It should be working without problems.
Richard1757 23 Feb, 2020 @ 4:18pm
Also I tested it out and it's no longer compatible with Remastered Human Portraits for some reason
Richard1757 23 Feb, 2020 @ 1:49pm
New update looks really interesting, will the other version get updated too? And why did you change the design so drastically?
Wick  [author] 10 Feb, 2020 @ 7:03am
*Updated*

New uniform design
Added royal uniform
Edited civilian suits
Cup of Joe 28 Jan, 2020 @ 1:28pm
Good, but sadly incompatible with European Phenotype mod.
Piss Burglar 31 Jul, 2019 @ 6:45pm
Please update, one of my most favorite Ironman combatible mods.
loulalune 13 Mar, 2019 @ 6:29pm
hey boyo when you gonna get updatin'?
dreamer 25 May, 2018 @ 7:10pm
Wick, I'm getting that bug where the suit with sash outfit doesn't show up for rulers.
Dave Black 14 Mar, 2018 @ 3:59pm
How is progres with the added civilian outfits going? Love the work you are doing.
Wick  [author] 10 Mar, 2018 @ 1:19pm
Erm... I see it's still using my old mod names... 2.0 should be the full version, if the other one's name is "Wick's Human Outfits"
V.I.N.C. 2.0 10 Mar, 2018 @ 12:50pm
@Wick No, i mean in the Mod menu there are two Wick's mods. One has 2.0 in the name the other not. I just want to know wich one the lite version is :)
Wick  [author] 10 Mar, 2018 @ 12:44pm
This mod is compatible with version 2.0 of the game.
V.I.N.C. 2.0 10 Mar, 2018 @ 12:34pm
Is this 2.0 or is the full version 2.0 ?
Dwarf-Lord Pangolin 24 Feb, 2018 @ 2:59pm
Fantastic!
Wick  [author] 23 Feb, 2018 @ 10:06am
Nope. Ironmad is possible.
FabioManoel1977 23 Feb, 2018 @ 9:46am
this mod will disable achievements ?
Wick  [author] 7 Feb, 2018 @ 3:53pm
@ARO My plan is to release it just as Apocalypse is released.
Acestounding 7 Feb, 2018 @ 2:25pm
Hey wick, since your doing a standalone of this mod next, are you planning to release it with the apocalypse expansion or later? Just curious, I am not attempting to rush, I know modding can be time consuming!
Wick  [author] 25 Jan, 2018 @ 3:04am
@BasileusMaximos In this version, all rulers whether dictators or emperors use both of them randomly. It is prescripted and thus impossible for me to rewrite without touching ironman data which would make achievements not obtainable. In my coming standalone, I am working on this, as it was reported earlier.
Pamparampampamparam 24 Jan, 2018 @ 8:11pm
Do dictators (not monarchs) use the white uniform? Mine keeps using the red one and it blows :(
Acestounding 15 Jan, 2018 @ 10:10am
@Wick Definitely do the hats based on uniform color, thanks for doing standalone too! This and the new Imperial Human Uniforms that came out are now my favorite clothing mods, keep up the great work!
Wick  [author] 15 Jan, 2018 @ 9:59am
Would you prefer standarised hats or colour based on uniform's colour?
Other uniform colours in separated mods for choosing?
Wick  [author] 15 Jan, 2018 @ 9:55am
I am about to release a new version of this mod as a standalone version. This one will stay on workshop with altered name as it is intended for playing Ironman mode. Changes will be:

- military will wear peaked caps
- military will change rank insignia based on their skill level
- more diversity in clothes amongst civillians
- not altering standard Human apperance and thus selectable on screen
- better and more beards for men and hairstyle in common
Acestounding 23 Dec, 2017 @ 4:37pm
Definitely one of, if not the best outfit mods for stellaris, it'd be even better if standalone though. And maybe some hats for hairstyles too? :)
revanauditore92 15 Dec, 2017 @ 1:47am
Is it possible to release a version with peaked caps for the uniforms?
Morgan 29 Sep, 2017 @ 10:26am
Ah, alright, thanks.
Wick  [author] 29 Sep, 2017 @ 10:25am
Is already on schedule :).
Morgan 29 Sep, 2017 @ 10:25am
Could there be another version that doesn't override the default?
