LordDeTracy 20 lug 2021, ore 11:15
@robojumper can you please update this?
B0mak 25 gen 2021, ore 9:17
Looks like this mod doesn't work on Wotc, oh well
CarlosCostaCox 19 ago 2020, ore 17:29
Would this work with Chimera Squad?
⚡Judge Zed⚡ 19 feb 2019, ore 8:26
Describing how I feel about this mod would be inappropriate, well done!
silverleaf1 8 nov 2018, ore 3:29
I had a situation where missions would not end when no enemies present as expected. I removed all mods and then added them one at a time to see when the same error would occur. When I added this mod the error happened again. Removing it using remove missing mods after a restart of the game and a save of the game file resulted in the mission ending normally once I clicked to end my turn. The error has not returned after removing this mod.

reallyhairydave 4 set 2017, ore 1:16
This one crashed my game on startup with WotC, I am running other mods but I'm assuming the conflict was with the DLC
Blaze 2 set 2017, ore 18:19
Any word on if this one is compatible with WotC? I'm afraid to try to load it myself :(

teh1archon 15 apr 2017, ore 6:37
Thank you :)
robojumper  [autore] 15 apr 2017, ore 6:20
@teh1archon
There is a file XComMAS_NullConfig.ini in the user config folder where everything is stored.
Since you have a backup, you should be able to merge those files. Just copy everything from the backup except the first line (with the square brackets) to the end of the current version in Documents/My Games/XCOM 2/Config/XComMAS_NullConfig.ini
teh1archon 15 apr 2017, ore 6:12
I have manually deleted all the config files and as a result it reset my achievments progression. I backed up all the files but played since. Is there a way to mend to the last state or to manually tick on the ones I did accomplished?
Deep Friar 19 gen 2017, ore 15:36
Oh my God. Never mind. There's my answer on the front page
Deep Friar 19 gen 2017, ore 15:35
So are Achievements for LW2 eventually going to be a thing?
Nasarog 19 gen 2017, ore 15:00
@RJ - THank you. I really appreciate that.
robojumper  [autore] 19 gen 2017, ore 14:59
Please use the Compatibility Sheet [drive.google.com] first.
Nasarog 19 gen 2017, ore 14:49
Will this work with the new Long War 2 mod?
robojumper  [autore] 12 dic 2016, ore 11:28
Heads up - I accidentally broke popups in running campaigns. Using the console command ModAchievementsReregister should fix it for that campaign. New campaigns will work fully.
Zyxpsilon 11 dic 2016, ore 11:56
RJ.. you lazy? I don't believe it for a minute!
(PS--So far so good.. ..)
robojumper  [autore] 11 dic 2016, ore 11:54
@Celestus of Borg
It's easier and I'm lazy.
BTernaryTau 11 dic 2016, ore 11:46
@robojumper
Is there a point in passively hiding it then?
robojumper  [autore] 11 dic 2016, ore 11:38
@Celestus of Borg
I know, but there's no point in actively hiding it.
BTernaryTau 11 dic 2016, ore 11:36
That looks interesting... very interesting.

@robojumper
Not that secret.
Zyxpsilon 11 dic 2016, ore 11:08
I won't reveal *IT*.. either! :D

Secret
Dragon32 11 dic 2016, ore 9:42
Oooo. Do tell, what's in the new update?
robojumper  [autore] 3 dic 2016, ore 9:40
Should be fixed now
robojumper  [autore] 3 dic 2016, ore 6:33
@Phnx
I probably broke it in the latest update. A workaround is to press spacebar while the mouse is over the List Item.
Phnx 3 dic 2016, ore 6:13
Does anyone else have the issue that clicking the achievements button does nothing? :(
Nitewolf 2 dic 2016, ore 1:53
Can you please add Wiimote and Kinect support? Kappa.
robojumper  [autore] 1 dic 2016, ore 14:49
Alright folks, full controller support is in now!
MantLemon 29 nov 2016, ore 4:40
Ok, so I checked those encoding options of a .txt in notepad. There are four options available: ANSI, Unicode, Unicode big endian, UTF-8.

I suppose I should save the localization files in the future as Unicode? This seems to be your UCS-2 Little Endian, because I think localization files for vanilla game also use it.
robojumper  [autore] 29 nov 2016, ore 1:28
It's probably just that our western systems don't encode it in the right way, while it works on your PC.
robojumper  [autore] 29 nov 2016, ore 1:26
@MantLemon
I think I fixed it now. UTF-8 does NOT work, mod authors have to encode files in UCS-2 Little Endian. This is not something you have to do when you're sharing via Pastebin, but something mod authors have to do. I already notified DerBK and RealityMachina of that fact.
Zyxpsilon 29 nov 2016, ore 0:10
A Notepad article can explain UTF/vs/ANSI/vs/UCS2-BE+LE much better than i could; http://docs.notepad-plus-plus.org/index.php/Convert_Or_Encode%3F

BUT ... let's just say that depending on the Character sets required (including Chinese or Hindi or even various European Cyrillics) most UTF-8 endodings can correctly feed XCom2 string definitions. There are a few rare cases where UCS-2 Little Endian might be necessary.. not for translation tasks but rather to achieve certain code functions like tricky HTML "loops" (My LAByrinth mod for example needs to hook via certain tagging principles) or direct binary snatch of extremely rare or special Typesets ("WingDing" stuff, etc).
MantLemon 28 nov 2016, ore 23:56
Sorry if my dumbness on this aspect disturbs you... But does this mean if before handling the localization file to the modder, I save the file as a .txt with UTF-8, and rename the extension to .chn, the problem as faced by ABA 2 will be solved?
robojumper  [autore] 28 nov 2016, ore 23:46
@MantLemon
Whoops, will rename the file.
And yeah, ModBuddy saves the file as ASCII, which fucks up the Chinese characters. I had to use an external text editor and save as UTF-8.
MantLemon 28 nov 2016, ore 23:11
If you could share any knowledge on this, it would be mcuh appreciated.
I'm beginning to worry if all the mods I'm going to translate will have the same problem as ABA 2......
MantLemon 28 nov 2016, ore 23:10
Hi, robojumper! Just got your update and the Chinese characters display as intended, but I suppose the file names should be ModAchievementSystem instead of XComGame for both mods? Because I tested the mod with a brand new save and the text is still English...

As to the encoding thing...
Generally I just open a ini file with notepad and translate the text, after which I rename the extension name to chn . This seems to work for most mods I've translated, including these tow mods of yours.

But as to ABA 2 (Chinese transaltion also by me), when I got the update a few days ago, all Chinese characters in the mod folder which should be there are displaced by "???". This isn't the case of my own original localization files. So I'm wondering whether it was the modbuddy that secretly changed those characters, or I've missed some essential step in the localizing process.
robojumper  [autore] 28 nov 2016, ore 13:17
@MantLemon
Hey MantLemon! Thanks for the translation, I included it in this mod. I hope I got the encoding right though (utf-8?).
MantLemon 22 nov 2016, ore 5:19
Hi,robojumper! Although this mod contains only a few words, if you don't mind adding Chinese (simplified) localization support, here is the file [pastebin.com].

Please notice that the extension of the localization file SHOULD BE chn. NOT cht.

Thanks in advance! :happymeat:
