Good job though bro
1. It disappear right after finish docking. Many other custom ship have this problem also but some dont and they work great.
2. The ship is so big that "collide" big time into the harbor area, lan around and even closest street.
So Im sorry to say but I will not use this.

You will see in the first gif that I had built on a dock piece of land. Now I'm not sure if that is the problem or if it's the fact that the harbor was built too closely to the actual ship connection line. You can see at the end of each gif I show you the yellow connection line and how far it is away from the harbor. I suspect that this is the real issue and that you need to build your harbor further away from the line so that the ship has time to spin around the right way.
