Just saw this kind of ship leaving Norfolk yesterday, looks cool!

Just found this vehicle and it looks really cool in the game, but disappears immediately after accepting cargo. Unsubscribing.

I just want to say that after like a year of using this i just noticed that the lifeboats have actual propellers....thats devotion to detail!

To explain the mast- forward mast is lower because that's how you see a ship at night at sea from another sea- the white light that's lower than the other one means it's placed forward on the ship- this is how you can see which direction the ship is heading. Also navigational side lights- the starboard side (right side) will always have a green light, whereas port side (left) will have a red light.

I work on ships and unfortunately this looks pretty awful. The (exhaust) stack is too low- not realistic, as everyone onboard would get poisoned by toxic gases. The midships house shouldn't be placed in the middle (amidships) because of the size of the ship- but this one is whatever... but most of all- the forward mast is way too high, almost the size of crane. Forward mast HAS to be low- because of navigational light placement (forward mast light on ships is always lower than the aft mast light)...

Good job though bro

Paraso 11 jun 2017 om 13:50
where do i find it in the props section?

Great looking ship but there is issues.
1. It disappear right after finish docking. Many other custom ship have this problem also but some dont and they work great.
2. The ship is so big that "collide" big time into the harbor area, lan around and even closest street.
So Im sorry to say but I will not use this.
Kropolis 4 dec 2016 om 16:21
Probably addition like every other vehicle mod ever.
mcarn101 7 jul 2016 om 15:06
Does this replace the default cargo ship or does it appear in addition to it?
Termite 30 jun 2016 om 7:17
How did you get the wake to work?
Mr.Sandman6144 14 jun 2016 om 9:31
Second tuanvuvo's comment, I would like to see more like this, especially versions for Evergreen, Hyundai, CSL, Hapag-Loyd, etc.
Can't.Stamby.The.Flamby 2 jun 2016 om 9:21
It's awesome, please make others vessel like this, the game really need it.
tuanvuvo 29 dec 2015 om 18:14
That's very nice. Could you make some vessel from other shipping lines? Like CMA CGM, OOCL, Evergreen, MSC...
haylostachoo 15 dec 2015 om 17:20
All was well from the nearest Cargo Harbor to the shipping lane then , as Mayor, I elected to construct a harbor past the railroad and highway bridges. At first it looked like the Maersk suffered no damage, but, monies were allocated to raise the bridges to let the Maersk past with nary a scratch. To those who were inconvenienced think of the new view as a rare treat on your way to the Breakwater Hotel. You're Welcome!

Alright, thanks for your reaction;)
Leo Mystic Magic  [auteur] 3 dec 2015 om 12:04
Yup, if it's the park ships I made they all float above the water. Not fixable unless I decide to change them all to be in the water which I won't do because then they will get a concrete base that goes to the bottom of the ocean floor. the float so that they dont have that concrete base you see on buildings. Sorry, no plans to change this.
thijs-west 3 dec 2015 om 11:55
I've got a problem with all om my ship, it's floting above the water, like for a few meters. Anybody knows how to solve this? Thanks
Atys 27 nov 2015 om 5:53
Thanks :)
Leo Mystic Magic  [auteur] 26 nov 2015 om 20:11
Ok, I didn't make a prop because I hate how props disappear after a short distance so I made a park version instead. Enjoy. http://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=563183620
Atys 24 nov 2015 om 5:24
Hi Shroom. You think it's possible to release a props of this ship for decoration?
haylostachoo 22 nov 2015 om 21:20
Impressive watching the docking maneuver... and then, she scurries off to the far reaches of the globe.

Awesome work Shroom <3 Would you be able to make a plopable version or is it to much work?

NICE
GCVos 18 nov 2015 om 2:34
Ship colliding or riding on the shoreline isn't exactly new, it also happens to the vanilla ships. I guess this size just makes it more apparant.
Leo Mystic Magic  [auteur] 18 nov 2015 om 1:30
Ah well you can always save a reduced size in the asset editor, it's easy enough.
OwiHH 18 nov 2015 om 0:39
nope that is the issue.. it docks right but the wide is to large .. ground cant be the issue it is deep enought : http://www.notioncreator.net/cs/Screenshot_1.jpg
Bittervet 18 nov 2015 om 0:38
This is really practical and beautiful, a plopable version would be sick to see docked in the ports!
It's AWESOME!!!

Cool photography attempt below:

Also If you still have an issue with it you can always save a scaled down version by opening he asset editor and saving a local copy to your liking.
Leo Mystic Magic  [auteur] 17 nov 2015 om 13:06
Ok So here is the issue you are having?

Here's a more optimal fix
https://media.giphy.com/media/l41m5wD0itlVt4ypq/giphy.gif

You will see in the first gif that I had built on a dock piece of land. Now I'm not sure if that is the problem or if it's the fact that the harbor was built too closely to the actual ship connection line. You can see at the end of each gif I show you the yellow connection line and how far it is away from the harbor. I suspect that this is the real issue and that you need to build your harbor further away from the line so that the ship has time to spin around the right way.
Leo Mystic Magic  [auteur] 17 nov 2015 om 11:52
@OwiHH [NC] I don't have plans to make a smaller version. That is the known issue I spoke about in the description. You can fix the problem on how it comes up on the land significantly if you alter the position of the harbor so that it is flush up against the land. Then it should spin around the right way and dock. I will post a couple animated gifs here in a second showing you the issue and how to fix.

Awesome Work,Well Done!
OwiHH 17 nov 2015 om 2:15
i realy like the ship but it is to big to bay up at the cargoports. It is 5 time bigger then normal cargoships. Even i like it the ships allways bumps around and becomes sideunsteable near port... cab you release a smaller version that fits right for the cargobays? may change pivot to the side it docks ?
Mas71 16 nov 2015 om 17:28
