PROBLEM - my trains have missing parts (half of it is missing - sometimes it's missing the locomotive and just wagons driving around, sometimes it's just the locomotive). Did anyone had this problem so far? I do not know how to resolve it? Thank you for any tips :)

This is so awesome to see Union pacific rolling stock.. I was a conductor for UP for several years and I am looking forward to seeing these things wandering all over my city!

hi, i have a question:
despite the fact, that AVO gives the opportunity to "turn" the engine around (and use it as back-engine), how did you turn around the engine in the first place?

was 3d-software needed to create a completeley new mirrored version? or can it be done with MOD TOOLS?

Hey I couldn't help but notice. How come you made the nose of the train so oddly shaped? It looks like a mix with a dash-9 and a EM GP 35 In my opinion I would lose the slanting shapes on the nose cone but thats just my opinion :)

That is because we use a mod to make different trailers, There is no way to load them in the correct order in the asset editor, you would have to remake the order again if you wished to save a new file. I did however get the lights to work with AVO myself so Im not sure why you are having that issue.

As a matter of interest I loaded this train into the editor and all the trailers were the same box car cargos yet in game they are different. How does the game change the box car if it is the same in the editor or is this a bug in the way editor loads the asset?

I found the same thing with other trains too.

Just to let you know that I tried adding the engine to the back with AVO but the lights still do not come on. Not a real issue for me anyway.

Yea but I like my stuff to work for anyone no matter what they choose to do. I know a lot of people will make dead end train stations just because they can and I want the train to work for them. :)

Its really easy to fix all the "reversing train" issues. Simply add a route that allows the trains to loop back to the track from where they came. Dont have the train stations end in a dead-end, have it loop back. Then the train "ai" will by default choose to keep driving forwards after unloading at the train station, and simply loop back with its engine at the front as usual.
The only reason they reverse is because you didnt provide a route for them to turn around.

Yes, it's a limitation of the game. If I did not include a headlight on the other side of the train by the use of the mod then there would be no light being lit at all. Glad you like it.

As for the UP and other train functioning here in the styates, the rear engine is called a Push and does not require the locomotive light on high beam...

I am assuming that when the train leaves a station heading from the way it came, you were unable to make the locomotive lighting flip to the new lead?

Regardless. I love your mods. the trucks and trains and industrial/container yards really add to the realism of our cities and I thank you.

I have just update the Train for After Dark. This train now requires Advanced Vehicle Options mod to get full effect of train. Without out it there will be no engine on the back of the train. Read more about this information in big bold blue text in the description in why I had to do this. Thanks for understanding!

The locomotive, looks like a cross of an EMD SD70M long hood, with a ALCO RSD15 short nose. Using EMD HTC trucks.

I would very much like to see a Norfolk Southern version of this if you would be willing to re-skin it. I actually drive NS rail crews back and forth between their trains and yards/depots and it would just be perfect to see some of our trains in game.
