To fix m9k harpoon not being able to be picked up, navigate to: "/garrysmod/addons/Harpoon/lua/entities/m9k_thrown_harpoon" and then edit all text named "m9k_harpoon" and rename it to "ttt_m9k_harpoon. That worked for me.

To set the slot for the harpoon from slot 5 to slot 8 change the value in "/garrysmod/addons/Harpoon/lua/weapons/ttt_m9k_harpoon" from SWEP.Slot = 4 to SWEP.Slot = 7 (putting it as 7 will move it to the 8 slot because crowbar automatically takes up the first slot. So 1 + 7 = 8th slot.)
