@DogsRNice
There is a mod out there named Ambient Sound Tuner. It's great for making more (or much less) of the sounds thorughout the city INCLUDING THE SEAGULLS.
It does not remove the seagulls - you still see them flying around the city - can even hop on one and fly around with it, which is fun. BUT, you can tune the sounds of the seagulls down to no sounds at all (which is what I do).
Check it out. I think you'll like it.

Update; The creator's gaming laptop was stolen a couple months ago and hasn't been able to get a new one. This won't be updated until he is able to replace it.
Jorundr 7 Oct, 2015 @ 7:32am
I was quite surprised by the shear amount of seagulls when I placed around 40 wooden fences in a little area near a mountain. Thanks for supplying a solition. :)
MichaelBruce83 2 Oct, 2015 @ 4:55pm

Got this enabled but I've still got loads of seagulls squawking. Bloodythings.
kreaturen 29 Jul, 2015 @ 8:15am
Lol, didn't even realize the game had seaguls in it. Guess now I'm going to notice and find them exeedingly annoying. Thanks in advance, I guess... :P
Jock o Strap 23 Jul, 2015 @ 8:31am
Doesnt seem to work for me, anyone else got issues?
Kimchi 22 Jun, 2015 @ 10:15pm
Almost every park has sea gulls :( Wish we had the option to spawn them like gathering spots in the Asset Editor that way if we want the damn birds, we will have them.
Monkeysaur 7 Jun, 2015 @ 5:56am
Ah, that makes sense, especially if they are spawned by certain buildings, I didn't realize that!
Soda  [author] 7 Jun, 2015 @ 5:47am
@dancjm, I actually don't mind them. But some people are building their cities in a way that spawns like a billion seagulls. When that happens, apparently the noises they make is unbearable; they are also everywhere. That's why.
Soda  [author] 7 Jun, 2015 @ 5:45am
@johnsavant, did you get Skylines Overwatch? Open the debug panel (F7) and see if the mod is reporting any errors in loading.
Monkeysaur 6 Jun, 2015 @ 1:41pm
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but why do people want to remove seagulls?
Savant 5 Jun, 2015 @ 11:26am
Seagulls don't seem to be going away.
Soda  [author] 22 May, 2015 @ 1:19am
Guys, turns out that the existing version of this mod in the workshop works fine. What is broken is the game's mod list after the update. The patch didn't seem to do a clean job. So, just unsubscribe, start the game, and then resubscribe. That will clear the existing entry and create a new (and properly formed) entry.
smeagol001 12 May, 2015 @ 4:31pm
i dont know which map i choosed but i deleted the save allready since the map was one from the workshob but i unsuscribed it after deleting the save
Soda  [author] 12 May, 2015 @ 4:09pm
On a blank map? Like the one you get when you start a new game? Which map did you use?
smeagol001 12 May, 2015 @ 3:44pm
i got it 2 or 3 times on a blank map so i deactivated it
Soda  [author] 12 May, 2015 @ 2:42pm
@Smeagol001, how often does the null exception occur? I am trying to reproduce it without much success.
smeagol001 12 May, 2015 @ 1:28pm
for me it draws a null exception and yes i have loaded overwatch
Soda  [author] 11 May, 2015 @ 4:45pm
Actually, do you have Skylines Overwatch subscribed and loaded? Without that, this mod won't work.
Soda  [author] 11 May, 2015 @ 4:42pm
@Epic Dump, open the debug panel and see if the mod is even loaded. If anything went wrong during loading, it will show there.
Epic Dump 11 May, 2015 @ 2:18pm
Does not work. I still have tons of seagulls above every single park.
Hawke 10 May, 2015 @ 5:16pm
Thank you! Good lord I couldn't take them anymore. And your other mods to remove livestock, thanks for that too. Zooming in to farmland nearly drove me postal.
Soda  [author] 25 Apr, 2015 @ 2:44am
@thepianoman97, you don't need to do anything special to get the mod to work, as long as you enable it. If you have the mod (and Skylines Overwatch) enabled, you should see two entries in the debug panel (F7):

1. A line showing that this mod has been initialized
2. A line showing that the animal monitor has been initialized on Skylines Overwatch

If you don't see both, then one of the mods is not loaded.

And yes, you can use this with existing games.
Hawthot 24 Apr, 2015 @ 8:01pm
So I like to think I have a good general idea of how to follow directions and how to get mods working, but I cant get this working for the life of me. The seagulls are the reason why I havent played this game in weeks. I was expecting to install this mod and the dependant one as well and it work. I was wrong, thats ok, but there are no clear instructions on what to do to get it working, not in this mods description, or overwatches description. Simple question: What steps do I need to take in order to go from seagulls to no seagulls and yes I want to use it in an existing save file. is this posible? Thanks for any help a bunch!
Soda  [author] 16 Apr, 2015 @ 5:14am
@FX2K, I was able to rewrite the mod to accommodate a greater number of seagulls. The original method worked as long as there aren't thousands of them; but when that assumption is no longer valid, the mod wasn't fast enough to get rid of the seagulls as soon as they appear. That's why players are seeing seagulls flashing around.

The current method go about this with an entirely different approach. It should be able to accommodate as many seagulls as the game allows with no display artifacts. So, everything's good to go again :)
𝓕𝔁 16 Apr, 2015 @ 4:39am
Just to add, personally.. I wouldn't mind a kill all seagulls permanently option :) I hate em.
𝓕𝔁 16 Apr, 2015 @ 4:38am
@Soda,

The hedge is just a ploppable park but because its a 1x1 park ( I have a 4x1 also) you tend to use a lot of them. I find between 2 to 3 seagulls spawn for a park, so a long row of them = billions of seagulls :P

But... for me your mod has been working fine, or so far anyway.

I have a feeling that such a thing will be controllable when creating assets soon, at least I hope it will.. A Co dev said he was working on exposing more options in reply to my related question on the forums.
Troubadix 15 Apr, 2015 @ 9:13am
@Letting Off H20 I don't have early death but with only seagulls and the main module, my game is stable for more than 2 hours now. Maybe you try disabling one at a time and report back.
Soda  [author] 15 Apr, 2015 @ 8:53am
Awesome! :)
Troubadix 15 Apr, 2015 @ 7:00am
Hey. Thanks for your effort. My first impression is good. No flickering seagulls in the gound and I didn't have any crash issues so far. So great news. Thanks.
Edit: The lagg in free camera mode is gone too.
Soda  [author] 15 Apr, 2015 @ 5:38am
@Troubadix, try it out now
Troubadix 13 Apr, 2015 @ 10:42am
Thanks a LOT! :)
Soda  [author] 13 Apr, 2015 @ 10:40am
@Troubadix, well friend, you created a city that exposed a weakness of this mod. So, I have to rewrite it. Stay put, I'll try to have the rewritten version done soon.
Troubadix 12 Apr, 2015 @ 12:11pm
Hey, so that is the hedge asset. It is just a park, so that is why it spawns seagulls.
The reason, why I have so many seagulls, is because I have so many small parks in my farming area. All those hedges, those farmgates, those fields and those hay stacks are parks. Do you know why the mod doubles the amount when activated?
Edit: forgot link http://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=419582117
Thanks for looking into it. As you see, I really need a mod that reduces the amount of seagulls.
Soda  [author] 12 Apr, 2015 @ 11:21am
As for the low flying seagulls, I have no idea what's going on. I'm going to load this hedge mod of yours and see what this mod is actually doing.
Soda  [author] 12 Apr, 2015 @ 11:20am
The "removed" count is for the current frame only. Seagulls count won't go to 0. This mod removes them temporarily, but they will still be in the system. If I remove them permanently, then you won't be able to get them back unless you rebuild everything that spawns seagulls. I'm looking into ways to change this, but for now, I don't have a better solution.

One of your pictures is VERY useful. That's the stack trace that I needed. I'll be looking into it and see what's going on.
